Ishiiruka extends the DPII feature to the xaudio backend. Can somebody clarify if this only when using LLE audio?
It does not work for me when using HLE. One easy way to verify is the sound test in Super Mario Sunshine. It alternates between left and right front drums and then the rear ones. If you always hear the front ones, then you are not getting DPII (switch breifly to LLE so you can hear the difference).

I would recommend disabling the specular for the phong lighting settings cause it causes red lights in wind waker for some reason. As for the stuttering try staying in an area for a little bit and see if it goes away at all. I normally got some stuttering in an area until everything is succesfully loaded. Also turn on the scaled efb copy as it makes wind waker look alot better.
Hey Tino, I just want to thank you for maintaining Ishiiruka. There's
a bug in the mainline version of Dolphin that affects Super Smash Bros Melee and has been bothering TASers of that game for a very long time; Ishiiruka doesn't suffer the bug and it makes the game feel so much better to work with when TASing.
I also have a question about the frame dump feature. In Dolphin, when starting a game with "Dump Frames" enabled, a dialog box pops up with the option to select an RGB codec for compression of the video output. I and many of the other Melee TASers use a codec called Lagarith to output high-quality video from Dolphin. Ishiiruka doesn't have this dialog box and I don't know what codec it uses by default, but the quality of output video is very poor. The resulting files have compression artifacts whenever there is movement on screen, and their frame rate is 120 fps by default and 240 fps (!) when the Double Frame Rate Hack is enabled. As Melee is a 60 fps game, this means that each frame in the output video is repeated 2 or 4 times depending on the absence or presence of the hack.
Is there a reason why the dialog box is not present in Ishiiruka, and if so, can the compression codec be selected elsewhere? And what can be done about the heavily compressed video output?

This isn't Ishiiruka-related – it's the exact same in recent versions of Dolphin. The reason is that we changed from using VFW to using FFmpeg a while ago. In Graphics > Advanced, there's now an option that switches between the default lossy codec and the lossless codec FFV1. The old VFW method of using custom codecs is not possible anymore.
Hi guys, I'm hoping I can get some assistance here. Anyway, I have what some might consider a low-end PC, and I've been having trouble running games in Dolphin. It doesn't seem to matter what build or version of Dolphin I use, Ishiiruka or otherwise. Even after playing with the settings tirelessly, I can't get even the most low-end of GC games to run (ie. Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine, to name a couple). Can someone tell me how I might optimize Ishiiruka for my specific build? Maybe there are drivers or other PC software tweaks that can help me? Thanks
Luigi's mansion and SMS are not low end games. Just because they were released early doesn't mean they're low end.
Rogue Squadron was a launch title and it's one of the most demanding games to emulate because of the insane tricks it does to get everything it can out of the hardware.
Really though. You're running a very slow AMD CPU. A double whammy. A high end AMD CPU comes to about a core i3 in single threaded performance. You don't come all that close to that.
The best you can do is set your internal resolution to 1x, maybe skip CPU access to EFB if it doesn't break your game, and use the Direct X 12 backend.
If it's too slow then, there's not much you can do.
Hey guys I'm having this error with IshiirukaFX, whenever i enable it i get this error (even with all the boxes unchecked):
http://prntscr.com/b3m50l
Is there any way to fix this? I've searched alot and couldn't find any solutions, I'm sorry if this has been answered before.
I am having trouble with rouge squadron. Runs fine although the game keeps crashing after you blow up the death star (Suppose to play a cutscene of it blowing up) but just hangs forever. Tried looking at the wiki of the game and doesn't mention anything like it.

Because your using the HLE hack that never got finished. The only way to play the game with no crashes on that level and 2 others I can't remember anymore is to use LLE audio.
