Well, i couldn't keep a record of every build, but i think 695 was the last one that ran fine with F-Zero GX for me, but after downloading that version i noticed the new version merged with 5.0 (the 699 one) and well, you know the story.
Tested 695 and 698, and both have the same issues like 699,......but those versions are less afected than 699
so for the record. the 680 is the last one to run F-Zero GX with no aparent framedrops that i can recall.
its could be really good if you add Wii Motion plus emulation support :/

i was asking to try to isolate the problem to a specific merge, did you tested 685,687,688 or 689?

It was never added to Dolphin. There was an old build that supported it, but it was an unofficial fork.
