Popping back in to ask a useful question, what's the best budget pc/laptop for Dolphin Ishiiruka?
The answer will greatly help many people who want to use Ishiiruka without needing a behemoth or a lion in order to run it.
Basically a modern day toaster just capable enough for fairly decent speeds.
I ask this even though I lack the proper personal freedoms of going out and getting one myself in favor of other people.

Trying to play with shader presets and I have found that the My Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Load\ShaderPresets\GAMEID folder only gets read if you have enabled the shaders manually in the post-processing tab. The effects wont populate the tab if somebody gives you their shader inis, even after launching that specific game.
So for example, i get a few shader ini files and put them in that folder, i go ingame, nothing shows up and the post-processing tab is empty. If I add the effects manually to the tab, close the game, throw in the ini files into the shaderpreset folder, only then will the effects show up with the proper configuration.
Been trying to figure out where the per-game post-processing enabler is with no luck
just putting the setings on the folder will not load the shaders, To enable the shaders you have to add them manually or edit the game configuration and add under the [Video_Enhancements] sectio n you can add
PostProcessingEnable
PostProcessingTrigger
PostProcessingShaders
specific to the game

it all depends on what you whant to achieve, for example any 2gb gpu will give you more than enougth horse power to run full speed at 3x or full speed efb 2x with IshiirukaFX wth every option enabled. for custom textures 2gb will perfeclty support all dds packs.
from the cpu side any intel cpu larger than g3250 will give you full speed in most of the games, with amd anything with at least 4 cores and more than 3.8 ghz will give you almost the same performance.
of course there are some heavy games that will give you problems but that is a known issue.

THX man! you are the best!

I just learned about Subsurface Scattering (SSS) or Separable Subsurface Scattering (SSSS) and I'm not sure if it's a post processing shader or what, but it would be pretty cool if that could be implemented.
Quoting because it was posted at the bottom of a page so you probably didn't see it. I wonder what other interesting shaders there are?
Just wanted to say thanks! My recent video for me and Rickv123's Twilight Princess Texture pack has recieved a hell of a lot of positive feedback and I have to give a lot of the credit to Tino for all of the awesome effects in ishiiruka. Many people have praised the lighting, and I have to agree, it does look beautiful!

Hey, I keep hearing people outside of this thread (especially Tomoya) talk about real time shadows possibly getting included in Ishiiruka. Is there any truth to that, Tino? Are you working on realtime shadows? Did I miss something in this thread, do we have any progress screens I can see?

Me or anyone with alittle programming knowledge can port or implement shaders, there are a lot of shaders in the inet that can look really amazing, my time is limited so i will try to implement some of them and will helo anyone trying to port shaders

Ii have a lot of ideas im working on but im really limited on the time i have free to implement them. As long as i can get free time i will make them public. For your specific question, yes is one of the ideas i want to implement.

I certainly understand the time constraints my man.
