The speed is back in DKC Return.

What it does: it only filter (with jinc filter) the HUDs, movies and some 2D textures. It uses the depth buffer to avoid filtering 3D models (so that the game benefits from increased internal res). I need to test more and improves the depth params so that it can support more games.
When it fails to filter huds with jinc, then Dolphin fallback to bilinear filtering (if you have eagle eyes, you can notice it).
Oh I understand now, thank you very much for explaining.
holy crap, have you been doing work to the ssgi shader? o.o It looks a lot better than before somehow.

im really impressed with the shadowing on the steps. Goodbye textured shadows! XD

Ishiiruka v573 black screens / freezes with the Direct3D11 backend (Direct3D9 and OpenGL are OK).
v570 doesn't have this issue (all backends work properly).
(02-26-2016, 11:27 AM)Hyllian Wrote: [ -> ]I'm yet to understand all features in Ishiiruka. Unfortunately I don't have much time to test shaders on dozens of games. It isn't so critical as programming the emulator itself. A shader won't crash or break Dolphin, at worse it'll just look ugly. Anyway, this last shaders is just a test, it's expected to not work on a bunch of gamesm though when it works, it looks very good! I like to share the things I have been figuring out, but if you prefer I can just take it with me and only release something if it's full fledged (it takes time, though).
I didn't mean to come off as unappreciative, so I apologize if that was the case.
And don't worry about understanding everything, you'll get there (and the FIFO thing is as far as I can tell a feature Unique to Dolphin and forks like Ishiiruka).
And feel free to share your works in progress if you so desire. Potentially more people testing = potentially more feedback, which leads to a potentially better v2/etc. or a final result.
Again, I'm not trying to say you need to do more work, or that you need to "give me NAO!". This is all at your leisure, I mean this is an emulation community. Most of us and the good majority of the lurkers are always grateful for things even if we don't act like it

While I don't know how that should look, yes that does look quite nice (ignoring the current state of how bloom efb effects look in general).
Did you by chance happen to make a comparison shot at the same time? Because I don't notice any difference with SSGI shader in Xenoblade (I do use EFB Swap trigger, with DX11 backend if that is different than yours).
I'm interested what changed and also
how it was changed so I can keep an eye out and tweak my settings for Xenoblade some more

updated latest folder witha new version, just small fix for dx11 problems reported in some gpus. Enjoy.
@kirbypuff: should fix the issue you reported.
Thanks for the hard work. Do you plan to do another Stable version after 5.0?
Hey, Tino,
I get a crash with OpenGL when fake-completion is enabled on deterministic dual-core. All D3D backends work fine with this setting. It also works on master.
Thanks for all the work you put into this!
Mario Kart for me still runs like crap. It has constant flashing or strobing on the entire screen on and off making it unplayable. I haven't booted this game up in ages. Tried turning off all my graphics options still has the problem.
Is this just my setup or is the game buggy right now? I do not use normal Dolphin.
