Hey everyone I just joined this forum and was introduced to the isshiruka version of dolphin. Basically I have an MSI Ghost series Gs60 2 PC gaming laptop. On the normal dolphin version basically every single game I have played such as Luigi's Mansion, Mario tennis, Punchout wii, Warioworld, NSMB they all run fine at 60 fps or 30 fps for a about a while then the fps just drop for no reason . It may not drop that much but it is sort of like a hiccup stuttering. I have tried disabling and enabling vsync on both nvidia control and dolphin and set the the fps limit to off yet i still get the micro stuttering. This may sound like a noob question but is it possible at all to play games smoothly via dolphin? I'm sure my gaming laptop is capable of at least play Mario tennis smoothly throughout the entire game. I am sure with the latest builds of dolphin at least it is possible to play an entire game smoothly with the right settings
For the users interested in developing their own shaders here you have beta version of the new Post Processing interface documentation. please review it and let me know if there is something else that will be interesting to be added in the common code.

Sorry but is not very clear to me, you say that in normal dolphin you can play the game widout stutering but in ishiiruka it starts to stutter after some time or is the opposite?
@Ingning17: Well, yeah, have you actually tried Ishiiruka? Because it should eliminate the stutters with its Async Shader Cache Generation.
@ Tino It stutters on both the normal and ishiiruka versions. @ Strip the soul ok Ill try out the version released today and will report back
Probably this commit
#2520 fixes the bug in Ishiiruka with sped up Xenoblade playback. So it finally can play PAL games at 30FPS natively (unlike current situation, sped up 30fps).
Downloaded the latest Ishiiruka still stutters. Is it to do with the sound settings?

Have you enabled async shader compilation and audio stretching?
You normally don't need Predictive FIFO. For sound, rather try XAudio2
Also, do you have custom textures enabled? Some packs with very big textures (like SMG and Star Wars) can create those stutters.

I have async enabled with the combination of Predictive FIFO. In terms of sound its on HLE open al latency 4 didnt turn on audio strecthing though so what's holding my dolphin?
