Heh, actually, playing again I realized it might actually just as well be music streaming that causes those little freezes. They always happen when there's a change in music I think. But that would be strange because Ishiiruka doesn't do anything differently there than Dolphin master, right?
The audio chops like crazy when any slowdown or stutters happen when using Dsound, but OpenAL with audio stretching fixes that for me.
Btw,the computer gods blessed me with an inexpensive $192 laptop with Windows 7 and after getting the required stuff and updating the graphics driver I can use any of all the backends excluding DX12 obviously. (and Vulkan thanks to Intel GPUs not supporting it)
Have any ideas to make this casual toaster run at a consistent 60fps at least while plugged into the charger?
I get up to just above 50% max CPU usage on both Ishiiruka and PJ64,so it never uses my full VERY low 1.4Ghz between both cores.
I see that I have support for OpenGL 4.3 and D3D11 but still end up with lackluster performance, indifferent to the texture safe/fast modes.
It looks mostly correct besides one minor intro graphic glitching out with the gameplay looking correct.
updated the latest folder with a new version, merge latest master changs, Added the ability to use previus frame data to the post processing shaders.
Enjoy.
This might be a stupid question, but does Ishiiruka work with netplay for something like Brawl?
@Preston530: yes it should work.

This could also be HDD starting to spin.
Sometimes this happens to me, since I put my games on a HDD and not on my SSD.
They might be turned off while nothing is being required to load, but as soon as the game require something, there is some delay since the pc needs to spin the disk again.
Performance down at 737.
Using same config of 727.
I tested a new configuration and same results.
Metroid Other M 39/45 fps - 737
Metroid Other M 56/62 fps - 727
Edit:
all games have undergone a drastic decrease of fps

Nah, that's not it. My SSD is always on. Also, the little freezes can happen every 2-3 mintes or so (well, actually, it doesn't seem to have anything to do with time, but just when something specific [maybe a new song] happens).
I don't think the issue you guys are having is an Ishiiruka only problem. I was playing Pokemon Colosseum on the newest version of dolphin and I also got random short hangs, I've got a good computer too. I think it could be an issue with the new windows 10 (it does telemetry readings that use 95% of my hard disk at random times), and maybe not a dolphin issue in and of itself.
Edit :Anyway, I have yet to identify what version of dolphin could be causing the issue.

can you please test if this performance loss is on master to?
