An update on FIFO issue - further in the game (chapter 2, inside tavern when you control Zael and can talk to other characters) the issue happened again, but this time the message about FIFO GatherPipe kept popping up and I could not resume the game. After maybe 10-20 popups I got two new errors - unknown opcode and then illegal command. See attachments. Then emulation did not resume I stopped it and closed Dolphin. Could not find where backend log is located (if at all written), have not yet restarted Dolphin so if you tell me where to get it and if it could be useful I can attach it too.
@Tino: Don't forget to merge PR #2087 and PR #2820

Yall are awesome for this dolphin mod! I can play Metroid Prime at 60 fps with virtually no dips in the frame rate. Do you guys have any plans on implementing the async and fifo mods in the master branch, because this mod has been around for a while, and still hasnt been implemented in the master branch. These would be an awesome addition to the upcoming dolphin 5.0 release! I dont see why anyone would have a problem with adding these options, because if you dont like them you can just turn them off.
Yeah, unfortunately the main devs do have a problem with it, even though it's just an option and a good (though not perfect) solution to Dolphin's greatest remaining flaw... >_<

Even if they are added to master soon, they're not going to be in 5.0. Only bug fixes are accepted for 5.0 now, not new features and enhancements.
Tino, do you think it's possibile to make 2d Hud non affected by Depth of Field?
Already wrote, but without answer: what about vertex shader, like mesh-smooth? Are they possible?
And crazy ideas about "more advanced" custom texture: could be possible to apply more custom texture layer, like bump, normal, sequences for animation, etc.?

PR #2846 (the New Z-HLE branch) was merged into master an hour ago.
(all we need now is a new version of Ishiiruka with the latest changes from master)
@otherman: all your request are things i'm already planed to add the only thing that stop me is my short available time. About the ui problem i'm still thinking in a good solution.

Tino i have a question. Is there a way to force depth buffer access in games that usually wouldnt have it? Cause there are a number of games id like to use ssao on and cant because it doesnt have access to it.
