So that's why I wasn't getting any speed boost with "Render to Main" (I always use Borderless FS)
nsmb w2-4 EFB2RAM bench:
4.0-5414
=========
2xIR - PASS
2.5 IR - FAIL (56 fps)
--------------
6xIR = 35fps
Ishiiruka v250
============
2xIR - PASS
2.5xIR - PASS
3xIR - PASS
4xIR - FAIL (56 fps)
------------------
6xIR = 34 fps
Ishiiruka v250+ (TexCache build) is slower in this bench (47 fps @ 4xIR)
Kirby can you try without borderless or render to main to see if you get the speed drop on dx11?

Latest master (4.0-5416) and Ishiiruka v257: nsmb is 5% slower when Exclusive FS is enabled: 'Light' areas get a slight boost, demanding areas get a moderate speed drop.
Just realized the master has borderless on opengl, seems to give a slight boost for me.
Ishiiruka v257 tested (see previous post).
Disable Aero / DWM and set the taskbar to 'auto-hide'. Then try Ishiiruka with Exclusive FS.

Wondering if this will be fixed.
Trying to, no idea where the problem is yet

Disabling DWM isn't an ideal fix for anything, though, as you can't do that in Windows 8 (or 10, supposedly).
Sorry I'm a noob I don't know what aero or dwm is or how to disable them.

I googled them and after disabling them my speed boost for borderless and render to main went away and I then had 30 fps on 2-4 on 6 IR at all settings. I enabled DWM again and my speed came back.
Was able to test the lastest dev build this morning and got interesting results on OPENGL. Render to main window gave me the same framerate as without it, BUT Borderless gave me a decent boost that enables me to do 3.0x now instead of 2. I wish Ishiiruka OPENGL had the borderless option now.
