Especially "Air Rally". Even at the start of the level (not the practice phase) it starts at only 35 FPS for me... then it's especially bad when flying through lots of clouds.
It only happens with XFB (virtual) enabled. That one is needed for some levels, though.

This is also in master, though.
Another new performance issue that master also has is with Exerbeat. In the menu it says full speed (30 FPS) but the graphics are like half speed O_O In the game itself (3D graphics) it also actually says 16 FPS constantly.
This is bad because I need that game to lose pounds Big Grin

EDIT: Huh... this ExerBeat issue is reeeeeally weird. I played the game fine with a recent build not even two weeks ago and now it's the same slowness even if I use 5.0.
Could an issue like this have something to do with a installing new nvidia driver? Because that's the only thing I did today that I could think of...
Some backends don't work properly. Playing Mario Galaxy 1 just gives black screen with OpenGL but there is still sound playing. DirectX 12, 11, and even 9 doesn't load any textures on Mario Galaxy 1, but works fine on Mario Galaxy 2, Twilight Princess, Windwaker, Smash Bros Brawl.
@StripTheSoul: it could be driver related because i'm readed a lot of issues repòrts with the latets nvidia driver.
@Lumbeeslayer: can you share your configuration?

Tino I'm having the same problem as Lumbeeslayer. We both can't be wrong! Dolphin 5.0 work's fine on Mario Galaxy 1 loading textures but Ishiiruka doesn't.
Dolphin 5.0 also works fine for me on all backends but Ishiiruka doesn't load any textures at all on Mario Galaxy 1.  Tino, if you want to test it, download the Super Mario Galaxy Texture pack on the HD texture projects thread. https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-super-mario-galaxy-1-hd-texture-mod
@Lumbeeslayer: what version are you using (dds, png, performance dds)
@Lumbeeslayer: already tested the 3 version and they all work properly. can you give me more detail on your configuration and on the path you use for the installation. there is a known issue for ishiiruka that it does not load textures if the path constains any non-standart character. a best way to test if that is the issue is create a ishiiruika folder on the root of any drive and run in on portable mode, puting the textures on [x]:\ishiiruka\user\Load\Textures\[GAMEID]

Files are dds. And the texture folder location hasn't changed. Its in my documents where its always been. As I said before Dolphin Emulator 5.0 works fine at loading the Super Mario Galaxy 1 textures, but Ishiiruka doesn't.  Mario Galaxy 1 is the only texture pack that Ishiiruka doesn't load. Now you said you tested the same textures and says it works fine for you. I just find that impossible. The problem is with Ishiiruka. Dolphin 5.0 works fine and loads the textures but ishiiruka doesn't. It makes no sense why it does that, and it makes my brain hurt trying to understand why.
