Texture Shader Factor is no longer corrupting textures, but the textures still look blurry at a distance.
This issue started with build 997 which also broke the Texture Shader Factor.
That blurry texture problem is probably caused by PR#6118, as the new mipmap detection is preventing AF from working. Try comparing 5.0-5743 and 5.0-5745 in the master branch and/or whichever Ishiiruka revisions correspond to them to see if that's where it started being blurry.

After looking through the two builds you mentioned and a few Ishiiruka builds, here is what I can conclude:

This is what it originally looked like in all backends prior to build 997Â in the Ishiiruka branch and 5.0-5745Â in the master branch.

Anistropic filtering in Direct3D 11 looks as if it's locked at 1x, and changing it has no effect. The Ishiiruka branch has some blurriness here and there compared to the master branch.

Direct3D 12 and Vulkan have very blurry textures in the distance. It doesn't look as bad in the master branch as it does in the Ishiiruka branch, but it's still very noticeable.
Out of all the games I tested so far that had this similar problem before (Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart: Double Dash, and F-Zero GX), only F-Zero GX remains.
@ISuperMarioI: will add an option to disable the acurate filtering in the next version to avoid that issue.
There is a way to restore dsound backend ? Is the only one that can give me stereo expanded to all 5.1 channels on my pc with creative sound card without any problem. The cubep backend audio doesn't work properly, audio start and stop continuosly with resident evil 3 for example!
bug:
if you select a resolution different than auto or desktop resolution ...
after compiling the vertex ubershaders, the screen resolution returns
to the same as that selected on the desktop.
change from fullscreen to window and then go back solves the problem.
Hi Tino,
just wanted to report that with the latest build the NHL 2k11 is not working anymore on Opengl. The game runs, you can hear the sound, but you can't see anything.
