Wondering if this will be fixed.
Trying to, no idea where the problem is yet
Here's a tip:
For a slight speed boost in nsmb (with EFB2RAM) with no side effects, change the SafeTexCacheColorSamples value from 512 to 128 in the per-title .ini.
The framebuffer effects still work even on 'fast' (128).

Direct3D11 = 4.0X IR 60fps (Can nearly do 5.0X!)
4.0.5416
Direct3D11 = 4.0x IR 60 fps
Are NVIDIA GPUs *that* slow with the Direct3D11 backend?
That's a monster card you have there and it still performs worse than a midrange AMD GPU.
A slightly overclocked HD6850 can run the same level at 6xIR.
A R9 270/X Â is good for 7xIR/8xIR (@ 60+ fps).
With it set to efb copies to ram? Mostly any other level I'd be able to run at 6x but that one level is a killer. With it set to texture I don't think I could get it to slow down on NSMB if I tried.
I'm talking about on 2-4 with no slowdowns or skips of any kind even when throwing a pow with alot of coins in the air at the time. At 5x there was very slight blips in the framerate and when throwing a pow on that level so I call that a fail at maintaining 60fps. On normal levels I ran at 6x perfectly smooth at 60 fps.

Yes, that's with EFB2RAM but not on w2-4 (I thought you were benchmarking w1-1).
w2-4 @ 6xIR w/EFB2RAM is a brutal stress test that pushes your hardware (CPU, GPU and RAM) to the limit

Tino, any luck figuring out what's going on with DX11 on render to main window? On another note, I think my computer can do opengl better somehow too. When I have opengl full screen and I bring up my task manager the game which is still full screen behind my task manager runs alot faster. As soon as I close task manager it goes back to being slow. I have my gpu set to prefer maximum performance as well.
ok, I tried the last Ishiiruka-Dolphin Custom Version dated 6 February and the picture is corrupted.
Here are some screenshots - I have a Geforce GTX 970 using the latest nvidia drivers and running DX 11 mode:
Running in OpenGL makes an error message popup - Failed to compile Pixel shader!
Here is a link to the error log:

I have no such graphical errors when using Dolphin master 4.0-5416 (tested both OpenGL and DirectX modes)!
Same issue I just had, on mine it was because OpenCL texture decoder was enabled. Also try DX11 with the setting render to main window and see if it gives you a speed boost.

Noted the same try using borderless fullscreen to see if the speed is better
I can confirm borderless full screen speed is equal to render to main window speed on Direct3D11 on my computer. I tested using 6x on world 2-4 of NSMB and got 47-52 fps on borderless and render to main window and got 30 fps without either one. I tried the 2 separate and at the same time and got the same framerate.
