Tino, I thought I should report my issue here too. I am using Tomoya's HD texture pack for Zelda TP (
https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-tomoya-s-twilight-princess-hd-project) and when I was using his previous version, it was working fine. Now that he updated it, Dolphin crashes when I enable the "Prefetch Custom Textures" option. Should I delete some sort of "cache" file in order for Dolphin to make a new one for the textures?
I am suspecting that the reason why it crashes now, is because it's looking for the previous version of the textures, then since it's unable to find them, it crashes.
My system specs: Windows 7 (non-pirated), 8 gigs of RAM, Asus Radeon R9 270X with 2gigs of VRAM, Intel Core i7 @ 3.6ghz processor.
Any ideas? Anyone?

Can you delete your shader cache maybe. Or whatever other cache there is. IDK.
Could you tell me where those are? As in, their exact locations?
you don't need to erase anything, dolphin does not cache texture info between runs. something mus be breaking the texture loading code, please test in master to see if there are still regressions from the latest master merge.
It works fine in the master build :/
By "master build", do you guys mean the "stable Ishiiruka version" as in, Stable 381(2e95783) <--- this one?? If yes, it crashes for me, even with that one, with the Prefetch option enabled.
@Jimmy James -
By master, he means the latest version found here:
Dolphin Master Download
@Tino -
Just checking on if you've made any progress towards why I can't seem to dump textures with Ishiiruka. I just want to make sure it's not something on my end. Ishiiruka runs so great, but it's annoying that I have to switch to master sometimes in order to dump stuff
Obviously not a huge issue, since there's a workaround. Mostly, I'm just curious.
Im having the crashes as well. It's odd because when it crashes, I don't get any Notification. It just disappears in the blink of an eye. Not sure if it could have anything to do with it, but yesterday with insane slugs texture pack, I randomly got an insane drop in fps that would not go away. It went from full speed to like 10 fps. I disabled textures and it went back to normal. I re enabled them and it was back to top speed.
@ZeldaGamer23 : master uses different code to decode png files, master use SOIL i use pnglib (Master is scheduled to remove soil and use pnglib to), the problem is a specific file
tex1_512x128_m_a4fbeb94707a8837_14_mip1.png
that is failing to be decoded.
@Jimmy James: master is official master

.
@frozenwings: i looked at the issue at home and seem to find the issue but i cannot fix it right now because I'm in a business trip and my Notebook will die if try to use a texture pack ( integrated graphics and hd textures don't work well

)
@rlaugh0095: interesting issue maybe you are filling your gpu memory, if you can reproduce the issue please try to use a gpu monitor app to check the amount of gpu memory consumed.
Tomoya, Tino's right about that file. It's some kind of desert (or soil) texture. When I removed it from the folder, I could load the game with the Prefetch option! You should take a look into it.
I had to completely uncheck SSAO, though. I was getting low FPS in Hyrule Field even with 16 samples. :/ Weird, but there you have it.
I should note that the low FPS is happening mainly when I am in Full screen mode. Maybe that's something worth investigating? Just throwing it here.
