Thanks forgot that was on. LLE Recompiler runs fine and sounds perfect anyways.
So I've been playing Xenoblade Chronicles for a while now. I took a break and then came back to it recently. But now, both with the latest Dev builds of Dolphin and Ishiiruka-Dolphin I'm running into a weird issue. It'll run full-speed for a while, and then it'll start to slowly decrease in FPS and level out at various speeds. Sometimes it jumps back up to 30 FPS after a while but usually it's also fixed (for a short while) by toggling "Load Custom Textures" off and on again. This seems to be related to the fact that, for reasons unknown to me, Dolphin memory usage will sometimes drop down to 250 - 500MB even with the HD Texture Pack while "Prefetch Custom Textures" is enabled. Yet I know that the texture pack is working because when I toggle I can see the textures swapping.
Is this a known issue, or am I doing something strange?

Are you caching textures to GPU maybe? I understand that can eventually tap VRAM and cause such slowdowns

That may have been it, thank you. I could have sworn I disabled it at an earlier point to test that hypothesis but it was enabled again when I went to check it now. I played for a while and saw no more slowdowns, so for now I guess I can assume that was the problem.Â
I'm using Xenoblade UHD texture pack, Reshade and the latest Ishiiruka at 1080p and i just got a warning that my memory was getting low, and finally it crashed and restarted my computer about a minute later. I have 16GB DDR3 memory, so i find this bewildering to say the least. Anyone know what the issue might be?
Are there save state issues with this build? I'm using it to play Skyward Sword (official build lags to hell while this one is silk smooth even with custom texture pack). But I noticed this build and the official build too have issues with restoring save states with this game. The save state loads and the game appears to run fine, but black screens when I exit an area. For example. I use save state in the mole digging minigame thing. Then after I end the game it blackscreens. Another example, I tried to use a save state early in the game in the official build but that also had a similar issue. I save stated from before I started the loftwing race. Then restored later. Game seemed to work fine as I went through the dialog again. But after I call my loftwing and the game fades to white nothing happens after that.
The game doesn't seem to completely lock up though. If I unplug my motion plus add-on the prompt comes up asking me to plug it back in. It will go through the calibration process just fine. but that's all it does. I would have liked to see save stating working with this game.

just to be shure you looked in the Task manager to see what was the proccess that gets all the memory?
I didn't get the chance to check, but i think i found out the issue. I had set the texture setting all the way to "safe"
Another problem occured though. It ran flawlessly, a bit pop-ins here and there in Makna forest, but the fps was stable. Then suddenly a message popped up on my main monitor saying something about the cpu being desynced, with a string of errors, and that it will most likely crash. It had a nice "enjoy" message attached. I did not enjoy it at all
I thought freezes were fixed, what can this be? :S
i5-4690k should be good enough i'd think
Turn off Dual Core mode in config
Thanks, will try. Is this a common problem or just me being unlucky?
