Also Windwaker now runs extremely slow with ssao enabled. But Twilight Princess is fine. Aside from a few issues the shader is running great. Thanks for putting so much effort into it.Â
Hey, im running windwaker at max ssao quality with dof enabled, at 6x native resolution, and my fps is maxed out! :3Â
GTX970 ftw!
Heya Tino,
I'm sure you've heard about or seen this PR:
https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/2162
Since Degasus doesn't seem to be interested in it anymore, do you think you could merge it into Ishiiruka?
I think the only thing it needs is some kind of 'stopper' if RAM gets too low. Or just a big fat warning on the option ^_^
I'd really love this option because custom textures (even DDS when they're big) cause stutter on every play which is really annoying, since Async Shader Cache Generation brought such nice and smooth gameplay...
Can I use the user folder from the Master Builds or will there be any problems?
no problem, the settings should be compatible. As always any issue you have please report it here.
Tino, would it be possible to get in touch with crosire over at
the ReShade site and discuss the possibility of exposing Dolphin's depth buffer to external injectors so we can use other people's postprocessing effects as well?
Tino, important bug to report with your latest build:
In the DX11 backend, enabling MSAA disables completely any kind of image downscaling and upscaling. For example, at native resolution it looks pixelated (just like with a nearest neighbor upscale, instead of bilinear). Higher resolutions also look weird when they are higher than the window or monitor, because of the non integer mutiple resolution. The only resolution that looks normal is "Auto (Window Size)" because it doesn't downscale or upscale anything. I think OpenGL is unaffected, but DX9 may be (I didn't compare to previous builds in DX9 because I never use it).
Besides, the SSAO.FixedQuality shader gives me "failed to compile pixel shader" errorsÂ

. I don't know if it's caused by the DOF addition.
Thank for the report will take a look
getting this:
