Been noticing that SSAO and SSGI are getting more and more demanding.
Used to play fine at 4k with SSGI on wii games, and now, they go down to almost half the framerate.
If I lower the res to 1080p, SSGI drops drastically on quality.
Gonna check older versions and see if I can locate when this started to make such a difference.
For SSAO, Id suggest leaving ssgi off and turning quality down to 32, for those who like using efb trigger. Runs most games great for me, except of coarse 60 fps games.

Would it be possible to update DolphinFX for that stable release?
updated latest folder with a new version, changes:
Hyllian's new texture scaling methods
Improvements and corrections to tessellation shaders.
Latest master changes merged.
Testing is welcome.
Enjoy

To start, I'm releasing the shader pixellate. I'll call it vc-pixellate.glsl (the vc means it's specially developed for virtual console games). It must be put inside scaling folder and is intended for virtual console games. To see the effect you must turn OFF any texture scalers.
Pixellate works by making the pixels the same size even at wrong aspect ratios (if you use nearest neighbor you'll see how distorted the pixels can get). It's good if you want to play the games at different resolutions. By clicking on "Display Shader Options" button, you can enable processing in gamma light, and set the values of input and output gamma.
I didn't test it with GC or Wii games, though I believe it can bring good surprises.

Tino could you merge this shader into Ishiiruka?

It seems the DX12 crashes are a thing of the past.
Cheers

I believe the update before this one fixed the DX12+On EFB Copy causing BSODs on my card had been fixed as it's not happening anymore and I didn't take any actions to fix it.
Hi Tino,
For the first time ever I'm able to play Metroid Prime flawlessly in terms of performance in the introduction sequence. Your shader fix coupled with DX12 made it happen. I'm blown away by the fact that I can play this after waiting so long.
However, some bug slipped in and it'd be great if you could check it out. When using the visor scanner, the game suffers a "memory stride too small" crash. This appears to have been an issue on the master build in the past (since corrected as of 4.0-8849 and detailed on wiki page). Happy to hear back on a potential fix.
Build 637, 628.
Hi, from Build 620 in DBZBT3, the flicker is fixed(when using Store EFB copies to Texture Only), thank you.
I found out another bug, missing character effect.I checked and
Build 584 is the last one that has the effect.
Tested both DX11 and OpenGL, same.

Hello, I'm using build 610 with the Twilight Princess HD mod. my setup is a gaming pc, which is using in home streaming (big picture mode) to stream to a laptop connected to a TV. The problem is the DS4 pad on the laptop doesn't work. when i connect it to the pc it works flawlessly, aswell as when i'm streaming the dolphin master to the laptop. None of the buttons work, except for "x" which just makes an error sound, and "o" which brings up if i want to exit the emulation. I'm using DS4Windows on both my laptop and PC, with a usb cable. the controller scheme isn't the issue, since i can just connect the DS4 to the gaming pc without any problem.

This isn't an issue with Ishiiruka, so you should ask about it in the PCSX2 forums (Assuming thats where you got it from, most development for DS3/4 comes from there.
I know of only two currently running forks of DS4Windows, and both are forks of electrobrains' fork of the original DS4Windows by InhexSTER, which was spiritually forked (read: inspired by) from Scarlet.Crush's DS3 tool. We need to Pimp a fork so we can fork while we fork to fork a fork of our fork.... maybe to many forks?

One is Jays2Kings, still using DS4Windows name, and the other is Input Mapper.
I recommend you seek further assistance from their forms.
But here's my 2 cents:
I bet your issue is with your laptops bluetooth stack. Not all are compatible with the controller. Now if you're using the same dongle on both, then it's probbably Windows screwing around with your driver without telling you. I ran into this issue after an upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 (fresh install). I had to jump through a few hoops to make Windows stop installing their version of the driver included with Windows over my manually installed driver. This is another reason to seek further advice in their forums as they know more about it because that's where it's developed and would know of any other outstanding issues or weird behavior of drivers like this.
