Hey all,
I'm currently on Debian Stretch and I'm trying to install the Faster Melee version of Dolphin (which is really just an Ishiiruka fork). I downloaded and ran an installation script fromÂ
here but I get a crash when the binary starts getting linked. Here's the precise error:
Code:

I know for a fact that I have libsoundtouch-dev installed. Do I need to go into the makefile and add a "-llibsoundtouch" to one of the lines?
I found a single user who posted years ago in this thread with the exact same problem, incidentally. He said that he "cleaned, rebooted, and recompiled", with that fixing his issues, but no matter how many times I "make clean; make", I still get the same error. I'm sorry if this isn't the right place for this question, but could anyone please help?
@Tino,
I just tested the most recent version of Ishiiruka (944) and I noticed that the specular maps issue still persist. I am trying to put together a new update for the Xenoblade mods and I would love to bring the material maps support back to the game. It would be awesome if you were able to resolve this issue. If you don't recall, it was version 900 that broke the specular maps with version 894 being the last version that worked correctly.
Thanks!
Hi Tino,
I'm still getting error (dx12 d3d create failed in d3dbase.cpp at line 342, failed HRESULT : 887A0001) when using DX12.
From first time using ishiiruka, DX12 always crash even after updated to latest version (944), No problem using DX12 with master version
Any idea for solving this?
Can anyone explain what GFX FIFO errors are? I am constantly getting them and it mentions an unknown Opcode (0x33 @ 00000000161AEF8E) and mentions the emulated GPU got desynced. It also says disabling dual core can help but I've went through and from what I've read I disabled the features that mention dual core support. Does anybody know where I can learn more about this issue and hopefully find a fix for it?
It seems we can't launch VC titles anymore (at least Super Mario 64...) with the latest Dolphin 5.0-3669 and Ishiiruka build 944.
updated latest folder with a new version. @Rickv123 and @alkaizer: please test if the issues are fixed.
