Hi Tino,
I've been using v770 for over 2 months without any major issues.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 works pretty well, those misaligned shadows I reported some time ago seem to be fixed.
I "naively"Â upgraded to v834 and was in for an (unpleasant) surprise:
DirectX 9 backend just renders a black screen (2D-elements are partially displayed, partially wrong colors, partially missing).
DirectX 11 is working fine but about 10 - 15 % slower than it used to be in v770.
Of course, I quickly reverted to v770. Â
Have there been any drastic changes lately, I've not been following Dolphin Master / Ishiiruka development since v770?!
@Archdevil456: if you have the time can you test some version to see if you identifywhat causes those regresions for you?
also can you try 732 that includes latest grapchic changes but 5.0 core to compare?
- The DirectX 9 regression (rendering black) happens with v791+, v785 works fine.
- Concerning the slowdown I made a mistake erroneously comparing DirectX 11 and DirectX 9 performance, so no problem there, sorry. Â
- v732 does not seem to be available for download, so I cannot test, though I expect no problems with DirectX 9 as similar things never happened before with any Ishiiruka version I tried.
GTX 1070, i5 6600k, 16 GB Ram, Ishiiruka build 834 (792 didn't work either but it used to)
I'm having trouble loading custom textures. Before everything worked fine w/ brawl, xenoblade, TTYD, etc. Now they aren't loading.
Here's my path
http://imgur.com/a/7oZ29 As you can see all is correct.
I've ticked load custom textures. Tried Texture accuracy to Safe, Medium, Fast. Changed my backend to all the options (including Vulkan).
Nothing works. It's strange because it was working before a few months ago, and I haven't touched anything since.
If it helps, for some reason DX 11 didn't work well on v792 (black screen)

can you share your gfx config file?

Path was Dolphin Emmulator\Config\GFX.ini I believe this is correct. Couldn't attach the file to my reply, but here it is. Thanks for helping.

@MeatyRod: the only thing that look wrong to me is your path, if you are not using a portable version the texturres should be placed at C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Load\Textures.
if you are using a portable version then they should be located at {dolphin executable folder}\user\Load\Textures. the path you show in the picture does not seems to be correct for any of those scenarios.

Ah, I had it under E:\Users\[my name]\Saved Games\Emulation\Dolphin Emulator\Load\Textures
Changed it to Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Load\Textures
I didn't think changing the path would cause custom textures not load properly, very strange. Thank you!
I'm using Ishiiruka for Metroid Prime 1 & 2 Gamecube and I have glitchy audio & crackling issues in the cutscenes. Ingame audio seems to work fine though.
Tried TimeStretching feature and DSP LLE, that didn't help at all. Is this a known problem and is there a fix?
@tinoÂ
builds from 772-777 of ishiiruka from which version of official dolphin build are merged/made?
thanks
