yes in master it was changed to always rebuild, because the old model was driven by a manual id that the developers has to change when a rebuild was required. That caused so many complains when a developer forget the change, so everyone decided that rebuild on every version was better, I changed it to simple hash the version of every file that is involved in the shader generation path, so is still automatic but less agresive than master aproach.
Hi Tino,
I hope you're doing well. In the January '15 progress report for the main build they highlighted an enhancement called texture pooling which to my surprise sped up metroid prime trilogy to full speed. The shader stuttering still exists however. I was wondering, was there any plan to merge your build to include this enhancement?
Did you enable async shader cache?

That was merged the same day it was merged to master

Right when I asked, I noticed that when I tested your build I didn't flip on the async features. I assumed they ran automatically. Fail.
Well, something to look forward to this evening!
thanks for the report will take a look, can you point me to the texture pack you are using
Super-minor nitpick: The mouseover text for Fast EFB Access misspells inaccurate as inacurate, and the 't' in "this" ("this method is inacurate) should be capitalized. (Sorry, English nerd.)
Also, the latest version of Ishiiruka still doesn't work with DolphinFX - still missing some required postprocessing code or something. (dump:

It has the PP revamp ones, but there were more changes done after that, when they were working on stereo stuff. Of which I had to update this again for.
