Try disabling "Cache custom textures on GPU". The Xenoblade custom texture pack is VERY big and 3GB VRAM won't be enough to cache all the textures to it. If you're using the DDS (not PNG) version of the pack, you might not even see a difference with it disabled.
I'm personnaly using the light version of the pack even with my gtx970 + the I7 + 34Go ram, the little thing that specially pissing me of is the 5fps slowdowns that occurs every 5 seconds, in the colony at the beginning of the game it's a nightmare...
@ Nainje: Do you have "Prefetch Custom Textures" enabled?
Hi, no not at all ? Could it help ?
Well, yes, of course! It loads all the custom textures into your RAM (if you have enough, you should have 8 or maybe even 16 with this pack) at the start of the game, so they don't have to be loaded while the game is running. This should get rid of your stutters.
Hi Tino. I've had no luck trying to compile a windows or mac build. I keep getting build errors. (missing files, etc...)

Can you send me the error logs?
Also, Tino - can you explain more about what "Compile Shaders on Startup" does?
Is it having an effect just with vanilla settings with no post-processing shaders? Or is it only for when those are enabled?
