I wasn't trying to insult your hardware, just telling you the reason why you aren't seeing any speedup. The processor isn't too bad besides it being clocked at 2.0 Ghz when Dolphin needs at least 2.8 Ghz or 3.0 Ghz to run most games acceptably, Your mobile Nvidia Geforce 9300M isn't a very good graphics solution either. A laptop is considerably less powerful that desktop counterparts, but as long as the hardware is up to par, it should be able to run games using Dolphin fine.

peteh

Anyone else having problems with the map disappearing when using the TP speed patch? if anyone knows how to fix it please tell me Smile thanks.

specs:
ATI Radeon 4870
Intel dual core 8400 @ 3,6ghz
4gb ddr2 ram
Windows 7 64bit
uncheck "safe texture caches"
Should anything be added to the first post?

I figured you were just trying to justify things, but don't you think it's odd that the speed goes down rather than up?
It's understandable that the speed wouldn't go up by a lot because the clock speed sucks but shouldn't I witness at least a small FPS increase. I just think it's weird.

I play at 640x480 and I get some very decent frames, even at hyrule field, thus making it COMPLETELY PLAYABLE at ^ laptop...

As I've said your speed decrease is likely caused by something else, recent revisions have caused a decrease of overall performance with Dolphin, so that is more likely the problem than this patch.
Hey guys.... i have a question.
In some areas of the game.. the graphics looks marvelous ..but in another areas the texutre of some surfaces looks really bad... like it is missing texutres. I have tested r 5475 , 5430, 5461
Look at some screenshots i took from my game:

I would recommend that you provide a link to the wiki page. Since half my comments to noobs with problems seem to be "here is the wiki page http://www.dolphin-emu.org/wiki/index.ph...ncess_(GC)"

You can blame the game developers for that. Although using 16xAF will help clean it up.
