Gr. I just realized now I can't see any text or UI...
All text and menus are completely invisible.
Alright. It seems like Zelda Bloom Hack rips out Bloom AND menus.

Are there any alternatives?
God. I'm a noob. I just used the Bleach and Crusade hack and it works without ripping out menus.

But now I have a huge black box around my minimap... Is there anyway to remove this?
Quote:Makes sense to me. The bloom filter's scaling is being set or "applied" incorrectly. The effect isn't being "applied" correctly as one would expect it.

Set does not mean "applied" in any context. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/set

Quote:I'm referring to this issue which was reported to have happened with r7096 last year, not exactly a recent build in my opinion, though it was cleaned up in March.
Quote:Not exactly specific to TP, but the dev mentioned that this issue noticeably affected TP. This one would fall under the "I broke it, now I fixed it" though.

My point exactly.

Quote:Once I remove bloom should I set AF to 16 since it doesn't matter anymore or is it completely unrelated to sun rays?

No idea. Test it yourself.

We listed two. And we didn't tell you to use the bloom hack.

Stop using hacks.

I'm using 3.0-655.

I've tried 1x Internal, RAM, and OpenGL.

It just gives me the same odd bloom glow along with blurry graphics (due to 1x Internal).

The only way I can get rid of the glow is by using Bleach and Crusader. I can ignore the black box by removing it when I don't need it.

The main issue is am I missing any graphical effects from the loss of bloom?

The twilight realm seems a bit too sharp compared to when I played it with bloom on Wii(it was bright and had a certain personality to it).
Here are two comparison screenshots of one with 1x vs 4x and crusader hack.

"Apply" is a synonym for set. The bloom isn't correctly set, either in position or size, due to the scaling. Also, the link you posted, #5. >.<

I see what you meant about the latter, (devs breaking things, devs fixing broken things), but not the former. At least, I'm unable to trace it back to an earlier revision that initially broke it. Not to say this isn't the case, just that its not immediately apparent to me when the JIT crashing on that issue began.

Yes......you're missing the bloom.

Odd. Try efb copy to texture and then try dolphin 3.0

I'm still getting an aura around my characters.

Would you say it's better to deal with the aura or to remove it and have sharper textures?
I'm pretty sure an aura of some sort is here by default in Twilight realm, but here it is anyways.

Also here is a crusader bloom removal comparison with the 1st/2nd screenshots.

I'm sorta torn here. Have glowing aura around everything or have sharp textures but no bloom...

I went back through some posts and I found a suggestion for r7719. It actually gives me shadows and no blocky map. No need to use hacks. Only D3D9 worked. This is with bloom off of course.

I tried DX11 as well and I was able to get correct textures WITH BLOOM correctly placed everywhere, but the top left of the screen was very blurry. When I turned back on Virtual it fixes the blur, but brings back the horrible bloom.

Any suggestions?

Here is a screenshot of the good bloom but blurry top left which I can only solve by turning virtual on.

No Hacks. DX11, 4x Internal and 1x Internal didn't make a difference. Virtual is off and RAM is on.
