Well that was 14 years ago alright. How could I have known when I was only 13?

EDIT: I reported on google code this sound problem: http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/iss...1340405490
......
I don't think you fully understand how issue reporting is supposed to work. You're supposed to report problems that cannot be fixed. If a problem can be fixed by more accurate settings, in this case LLE, then it is not an issue. You cannot expect everything to work fully when using hacks (HLE is a hack, not accurate audio emulation, it may cause audio issues but it's fast).

Sorry, I didn't know.

Hi,

I got a problem here. Maybe it's just me and my configuration.
When using the item Ooccoo it does absolutely nothing. -> http://zelda.wikia.com/wiki/Ooccoo

The screen just goes to "movie mode" and Link pulls her out, then the game,
well, you could say it freezes. It doesn't really freeze, but nothing is happening.

Is that a known bug? Because as far as I can tell I have to use her in this
situation.
I also tried just to press "A" several times, because I thought maybe just the
message isn't displayed, but it has no effect, something is getting stuck when
using her.

Emu-Version:
3.0-702 ( 3.0-710 seems to f*ck up the maps again )
EDIT2:
Ok I got the same issue with 702, it's not like the map doesn't work at all,
but it seems to get stuck in a certain state very often, so It won't update
anymore. Best solution is to make a savestate and load it again.

Config:
VSync ON
Internal Res x2
Filtering x16
Scaled EFB Copy ON
Ignore Format Changes ON
EFB Copies RAM Enable Cache ON
External Frame Buffer DISABLE
Per Pixel Depth DISABLE

Everything else unchecked

EDIT:
Well, ok, I didn't have to use her, but the question is still the same, why isn't
that item working at all? If it happens with Ooccoo, does it happen with
something else in the game as well?
well, technically, reporting issues for HLE is fine, as long as they aren't old and already know.

eh, DSP HLE will get there eventually :\
The devs don't like it and generally ignore any HLE issues that can be fixed by using LLE.
Ok, so I asked a friend with better specs than I have to test the emu using LLE. And he got the same slowdowns and noises I'm having when using it. He said he's got no speed problems using HLE. Here's his PC specs:

Intel Core i7 950
Radeon 5970
16GB ram

And his mobo is either Asus Rampage III Extreme or Formula.

Hey grasmann, where exactly are you the game? I stopped playing at the Goron Mines so I haven't needed to use Ooccoo yet.
you need a fair bit more than stock clocks on the nahlem architecture

i don't get fullspeed in TP's fields at 3.8

I was in the goron mines, too.
But I guess you will never really HAVE to use that item anyways ... I just couldn't find the way in that situation and since I just found Ooccoo and Midna told me to go back and get a shield I figured I was supposed to use Ooccoo, but there was another way to get out.

I also am experiencing this. I just got the item, back in the first dungeon, and it does nothing. Pressing start brings up a "can't skip" graphic so it's not frozen, but it doesn't let me proceed. It's basically an insta-crash at this point.
