After a load of that, people eventually accept it, and most either don't care enough or are too busy being outraged to actually double check anything. Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all the other ones.
not sure who you are supporting here.
if youre suggesting that we, the younger people, just accepted that life of the EU or are "to busy" to check stuff then i have to strongly disagree. we know damn well what is what and that it was a dumb move to leave. now if Scotland could leave the UK and stay in the EU... but even then Scotland is semi fucked because it has a big idiot england between itself and the rest of europe...
if yuo're (Â

Honestly, none of this shit would have happened had the US not created the IS.
So it's all Bush's fault I guess.

That's why I hope next generation politicians (aka the younger citizens that voted to stay) will make better decisions...

if they will get that far. i'd need to look up everything but if boris johnson becomes PM... not a good start
Question time. So I finished my AI master's degree, I was in talk a bit with an AI startup where my thesis was actually slightly relevant, so pretty neat if I could work for them. However I had the first conversation before finishing my thesis, the founder said we'll have a new conversation soon, however I mailed them a bit after finishing the degree, and now she said instead that they're deciding a bit who to be hiring, and no mention of this second conversation we were supposed to have. So possibly I'm not the hottest shit for them compared to someone else they found. Been 2 weeks since then, not sure if I'll just have to wait or if I should ask more questions.
Now there was a job entry advertised at Microsoft, it's all "eh you don't need to know C#/.NET, it's fine, you can learn". I however happen to have made an RTS engine in C#, giving me some advantage for the position. Now the only annoying part about the job, is that it is located in the city where I studied, but I had to move out of my apartment there as it's only for students. If I work for the AI startup, I can work through the Internet and save $s by living with my parents for a while.
So I was wondering if I should just apply for this Microsoft job, and then just decline a job if I get two... but I find it awkward to decline a good job if I already interviewed for it. I could be patient and just wait longer, but I am not very patient...
Call up the other company and ask if they have any updates for you. In the meantime, I would definitely apply to Microsoft.
32 pages eh. You guys sure have been busy.
Alright, anyone here hitting up those steam summer sales? So far I got,
-Project Nimbus
-Bully
-Wolfenstien: New Order
-Dishonered. Still got like
Got 138$ left to go. XD
HALP!
I don't know, I'm not really feeling this sale.
- Everything is on sale from day one which doesn't give me an incentive to check the store every x hours and has games fixed on a certain price (but who knows?). Those flash and daily deals were nice to have, especially when a higher discount showed up.
Then again, the reason why they did this is probably because people ask for refunds when a game they had bought gets a higher discount later.
- There aren't enough high discounts going on
- There's no 'fun' sale event anymore. Now you just go through your queue to get cards
Edit: oh and I already own most of the games I want so...
I just saw the pull request for the Vulkan backend.
I'm looking forward to seeing Dolphin 6.0 in 2020.
