CLI? Pfft.... I use punched card input and I like it.
@kinkinkijkin
Yeah I didn't really want to read through/respond to yet another "kinkin broke something and offers a vague description of what happened" post. No offense. You're on your own this time. All I know for sure at this point is that whatever happened, it was entirely your fault. Because that's not supposed to happen.
I did find the source of the problem; apt really doesn't like certain 32-bit libraries and will delete everything else when you install said 32-bit libraries. I don't know exactly which one it was that did it but I was installing a fairly large amount of 32-bit libraries earlier

I only use the CLI over punch cards when my abacus goes missing though. Takes a while for it to boot up Linux, but it works.
Yeah my abacus is pretty cool but when I want to go old school I fire up a new universe instance. Â Sure it takes around 1x10^102 years to run but the computational power is unmatched.
the universe? going a little modern? I use the relatively-unknown force that created the universe for all computation. Leaves behind a lot of garbage but garbage can be used to make it sound better.

Our universe is nothing more than a computer simulation run by 5D beings (it was an experiment to see what things would look like if they couldn't divide by zero). If I want true retro-tech, I'll just use theirs. I might rewrite a few laws of physics and bank accounts. Let me know if you need money or the ability to phase through walls.
Since the simulation the 5D beings wrote isn't the best example of programming, any bank account editing may result in you somehow owing the government an infinite amount of money, so I'll only do that if you're feeling lucky.The wall phasing in finicky at best too, however, you can try it at your own risk now. Just run at something. Don't be afraid of the first few (thousand) collisions. It'll work eventually.
It totally worked!! I ran through a glass door! But for some reason I have to pay to replace it and my arm is bleeding. Curious.
Pfft, everyone knows you don't need any of that when you can join the Borg.
