I'm really surprised with the Pentium G3258. With very little effort the CPU is running now at 4.2 GHz with stock voltages and with stock cooler, completely stable. I probably could push the frequency a little higher but I'm avoiding that because of the high ambient temperatures here. Will mess a little with undervolting now...
Something unlrelated, (that's the point of this topic I guess). My Dell XPS 15z laptop is often making a buzzing noise, that can be stopped by pressing down near the trackpad. I'm wondering if it's the hard drive and I'm soon to get fucked?

It's telling you to get a shiny SSD
While we're on laptop issues, I've got a couple. First, since I upgraded to Win10, certain fonts look crap, even though all the scaling I can find is set to native. I can make this worse by adjusting ClearType settings. It's not quite so bad right now, but isn't the same as 8.1 was. I took a screenshot of a facebook post from Hexus in Edge before I realised this reply to thread textbox is doing the same but worse in Chrome. You can (maybe) see that many vertical lines appear thin and grey compared to others. It might just be the crappy panel this machine has, though.
The other issue is that whenever the machine hibernates, when I come to resume it, it just does a normal startup as if I'd just shut it down. I've poked around the power settings, and everything looks fine. I've poked around the BIOS, and everything looks fine. I've even done a startup repair, which said everything was fine. This issue was also there under 8.1, and I hoped the upgrade would make it go away.
Whenever I've googled these issues, including when I've mentioned the laptop's model number, I've got nothing relevant to my situation, just people who've accidentally changed some settings, and need to be guided through putting them back to default. In case someone wants to demonstrate how much better at google they are than me, the laptop is an ASUS X551C.
So after 2 years or so discovering Dolphin I've decided to make a proper signature. I was too lazy and didn't care about having one because heck...I don't care. But I figured its been too long already that it's time to make one, critics are welcome. So without further or do.
