Not the record. In 2002 Germany beat Saudi Arabia 8-0 :p.
Congrats Germany. One match left to win...
The biggest win was actually 9-0 sometime in the early 20th Century.

I hadn't gone that far :p.
Btw 2 african teams in the round of 16: It was the first time. Unfortunately they couldn't go farther

Well we need someone to reach the semis for once, and Ghana most recently would have in 2010 if not for Suarez's deliberate handball which the referee never noticed.

We'll make it.
The game yesterday was awesome...
Nah, Brazil was just bad.
Honestly, even the austrian team could have won against them.
....Or the Nigerian Team.
Yes, but they were actually qualified.
Good old Corsair quality control. The backup power supply asploded last night thanks to a fault and took out my Sabertooth X58 before I could send it out for rma. I've had bad luck with these, three failed on me along with the Sabertooth X58's. Too bad rma only covers replacement of the same model and not something similar with better quality.
The plastic piece the power cord plugs into was loose as in coming out of the psu casing but was still attached to something so didn't pull all the way out. When I was adjusting/fixing some stuff the socket pulls out the rest of the way shorting on the metal psu casing, sparks went everywhere and tripped four of my breakers except the breaker to which the computer was on so lol fancy that.
The wiring going to the socket was burned but the diode/resistor/transistor/whatever oddly wasn't burned. The 24-pin power connector from the psu had burns on the wiring, some melted wire near the connector. The 24 pin socket on the board had burn scorches on the outside and in a couple pin sockets. Tried seeing if I could remove the burns/scorches which appear to only be on the surface but no luck.
Immediately pulled and tossed the psu in an outdoor trash can, hooked in the other psu to check for damage to other components. Motherboard was fried, powers everything on but the cpu/dram leds are lit and doesn't post nor outputs video. So pulled motherboard and cpu, inspect cpu and there doesn't appear to be visible damage. Switch heatsink/fan to my LGA775 board with Core2Duo E7500, hook everything up to test other components. The good new is my GTX 460 and hard drives are still working which I was most concerned about; I have files that would be impossible or difficult to re-obtain considering that in the case of Steam I don't have adequate internet and am limited to 20GB /mo. Besides that I have movies/games I ripped myself, music and files stored for backup to avoid wasting bandwidth in the future should the need arise to reinstall anything. Don't know whether or not the cpu made it until I can get another board to test it.
But even though it was an "Oh shit" moment that made my heart sink my concern first and foremost was rushing to get power cut from the system. With the sparks that went flying I could've ended up with a fire so I rushed to pull the plug from the wall which I had to move the tv stand to do. Definitely don't want a fire as I'm in a mobile home and these go up like toothpicks/matches. So after disconnecting power I had to make sure there was no flames or anything smoldering then went to switch on the breakers that tripped which were ironically the hallway, spare bedroom, bathroom and master bedroom but not the living area where my system was hooked up. My second concern was making sure my hard disk drives weren't fried and I faced total data loss so one GTX 460 and my two hard disk drives are confirmed working, seems just the board got fried. The board wasn't a huge concern since I had a spare board that allows me to play my games with decent performance sans TF2 and emulators such as Dolphin/Pcsx2. Not too concerned about emulators on this weaker hardware as I haven't really bothered with emulation much and there are games that work well enough with this hardware.
I wonder if I can still swing an rma with the board considering it was faulty from the moment I received it, likely an electrical fault according to a Google search if I neglect to mention that my psu recently fried it? I honestly had no idea that would happen and thought the plug was secure enough it wouldn't just pull out the rest of the way like that..
Update: Everything seems to be fine except the power supply ofc and motherboard, condition of i7 cpu is currently unknown until I can get a new board and test it.

Good choice! I love how everybody around me keeps telling me "you'll change your mind and want kids eventually". As if the alternative is "unnatural". Nobody seems to be able to accept the idea that some people just don't want/like kids.

teh_speleegn_polease Wrote:Well first of all, you were five 11 years ago, and the gamecube was only about 15 years old or something. Not 25.
Big difference between those two. The GAMEBOY (which is what he was referring to) is indeed 25 years old. So his point stands.

Last I checked broadwell was Q2 2015 (spring/summer) and skylake was Q4 2015 (fall/winter).

Corsair is widely regarded as having some of the best QC of any PSU manufacturer. You just seem to have an almost supernatural ability to break just about anything and everything.

Sigh......is this going to be another one of those debates that sparks an infinite exponential expansion of post length until I just give up from lack of time?

This has to do with malevolence, not "being annoying". And while they do have the potential to do more damage with their actions both because of this and their increased financial/social influence in my experience on average people do generally get nicer and more mature as they age. Their will always be assholes in every age bracket but the percentage of assholes in each age bracket drops as age increases.
Shonumi Wrote:-They still have peer pressure affecting them. See gangs.
Oh come on. You're over 20, you know how it is. As you age you generally socialize less and less and with a smaller group of people. Most kids/teens are in some form of clique and socialize almost nonstop with lots of people. They're subject to much more peer pressure on average than us. Their survival and status is much more heavily influenced by their ability to conform to peer pressure than us which is why it has a stronger effect on them.
Shonumi Wrote:-They are pumped with alcohol, cocaine, heroin and God knows what else.
Out of these three cocaine is the only serious stimulant that is comparable to kids on a sugar rush. Alcohol and heroin have a strong incapacitating effect. Alcohol generally makes people do stupid things while heroin generally makes people do harmful and/or stupid things (on a much grander scale). Out of these three alcohol is the only one that is fairly common in the population and even for that drunk people are fairly rare. None of these are even remotely comparable.
