Lol ok.
"Almost definitely". Hell I'm surprised I'm still here. I probably wouldn't be if I didn't have so much free time due to screwing up my class scheduling and not getting all of the required prerequisites done on time.

Wow, that sounds promising. I'm glad to see (more) bigger devs use Kickstarter for their projects.
I'd love to see some more concepts/art of the game.
Never knew you liked RPGs.

Why would you want to leave in the first place?
Do you not like the people here?
We've already lost some regulars like dannzen.
Guess he either tries to avoid getting warned or is extremely busy.

Of course I like rpgs! Have you never heard me talk about story based games like mass effect before? Obsidian is one of my favorite developers.

It's a time sink. In the future I will have less free time available to spend and it will be more important that I don't spend it procrastinating. On top of that as time goes on activity on the forum will inevitably decrease therefore making me less likely to want to waste what little time I have that I shouldn't be wasting here. There will be less discussion about the emulator as it continues to progress and we continue to make information easier and easier for newbies to get without posting, the combination causes the level of activity on the forums to continue to decrease as time goes on. Eventually this place will become as much of a ghost town as forums for older emulators are, there is no getting around this. And when this place is a ghost town and I'm trying to hold down 18+ credit hours a week of upper level classes + a full time job I don't think I will want to be here.
And you never really lose people from the community just because you stop browsing a particular forum. I have you on my steam friend list I believe.

It's a bit harsh
The forums needs these guys, else it would be just a bunch arguing over something.

Actually I guess I misunderstood what NV was meaning by "nothing of value was lost"

????? What? Do I REALLY need to show you some of his posts to show you exactly what you're defending?
Apparently I need to spell this out for you guys. His posts were borderline unreadable, aggressive, pointless, non-linear, and made little if any sense. He contributed nothing and generated mountains of work for the rest of us correcting his mistakes and cleaning up his mess. So yes, nothing of value was lost, good riddance.

I'm pretty sure you got it right.
These is how internet communities work, people come and go. I remember a lot of people from the snes and n64 emulation eras that aren't here anymore, I just got used to the idea as time went by. People get jobs, families, kids, they move on.
The only thing that still really bugs me is that this time I'm not seeing new people coming to form the next generation of this cicle, the emulation scene seems to be just coming to a halt :/
I wouldn't worry. As long as there are people to correct, NV will be there to correct them. If not him, someone very similar. :p
