Well, when I quickreply, first it doesn't refresh. When I do a second reply, it refreshes and merges.
Firefox beta with lots of addons, Windows 64.
I assume quick edit and reply dynamically generate a post div, when the server returns the HTMlized content of the post and/or the surrounding divs? After saving a quick save, there's more post body padding than normal.
Oh well. It does get annoying when you want to post new content but don't want it merged into the same post i.e. screenshot threads for games where each new post includes shots for a different game or Q&A stuff. Due to that is why staff and contributors should have immunity. Most of us know the rules, know not to spam or abuse the system so I see no reason for there not to be an exception for specific groups.
Btw anyone looking for kittens? We as in me and my parents got quite a catastrophe (le punz lol) on our hands. We have demonic stalker kittens and they aren't even our kittens. They run in our houses eating food for our cats and act as if it's their home and act as if we're their owners since forever. I have one that stalks under my deck and stalks each door anticipating for a door to open so it can run in.
X2D, you do have a bit of a habit of panicking when someone responds to what you've said in a negative manner, and then saying things that make you look like the bad one. Chill pills may help.
As for the power thing, get a measury plug thing, and measure everything, and then if it doesn't add up, check you haven't got a live wire hooked up to earth, or neighbors stealing your electricity, or anything else that could lead to power going where it shouldn't. It might just turn out that some device is most of the way to being dead, and it's sucking all the power. I had a mains to USB adapter that spent a couple of months shutting down my computer randomly (or just tripping the RCD for upstairs) without anyone knowing. I only made the connection that it was the leakage point when one day my iPod wouldn't charge, so I opened it up, and discovered that while it was outwardly okay, the inside had been on fire at some point, and only hadn't burned the house down because there wasn't enough air inside it for a flame to last.
Yeah, like I said, no automerge for cool people
I blame moderating powers I love Shonumi's moderating powers. This was not edited, I swear...

But I neither panicked nor overreacted or said anything to make myself look bad. I was sarcastic in return and offered my constructive criticism. All recent replies from him to me have been these remarks and a line has to be drawn somewhere. It is annoying, spammy and I've let it slide for a while, I was calm and civil the whole time. Granted I could have used a better tone and choice of words to express the matter.
Here's what the real deal is without divulging to much personal info.
I over-explain and over-complicate stuff the where the simplest explanation or statement would suffice. I have ADHD, high anxiety and some OCD. It's part of my disability and not something I can really help but most times I go back and fix up my posts. It's caused by a disorganized thought process, my mind is literally a cyclone inside. Often times I can be articulate and too the point, other times it depends on my state of mind. Seeing as I've had zero sleep and have been battling sleep anxiety, panic attacks and sleep deprivation there ya go. You should know me by now and I'm out of character then perhaps there may be something is going on or some other reason for my attitude but it's nothing personal against anyone. Just because what I post may seem like a rant doesn't mean I intended it to be that way I just get subconsciously carried away with over-explanation and making things more complicated.
Several people don't seem to understand or comprehend this even costing me two irl friendships at no fault of my own for just expressing concern and seeking answers to provide reassurance.
tl;dr: Perceived rants and negativity are not what they seem i.e. rants are not rants and negativity is not negativity. I just can't express myself correctly and express or explain stuff in a simplified form so don't read too much into it.
Be glad that it auto-merges new replies.
Very glad.
Ugh, that thread is painful. Not as bad as shoober420 or
Wally123 (probably only because it didn't go on for nearly as long). But still, the chills, such ignorance with no attempt to learn from those more knowledgeable... *shudders*

1. You need a tl;dr for your tl;dr.
2. To be completely honest, your biggest problem is when something does slip out whether you meant it that way or not or maybe someone took it the wrong way, when you try to explain yourself you only dig your hole deeper and deeper each time. Also, you make excuses a lot. Like blaming a lot of this on ADHD, high anxiety, OCD. There are literally millions of people who deal with those exact same things. Just own up to it, it isn't a bad thing that you fuck up with this kind of stuff. You're human. Everyone messes up, but just learn to own up to it, quit making excuses, don't try to explain at all, and then this stuff won't happen. I'm not trying to be a dick. I understand where you're coming from and I'm only saying this for your benefit. You've done this a couple of times in the past and even though I understood completely where you were coming from, the best thing to do when something like this happens is to just drop it. You're a cool dude, and I hope this post doesn't put me on your shit list. Like I said I'm only posting to help.
I cannot block my providers Youtube CDN, even when blocking the IP range & changing DNS servers.
Blocking all of them & changing dns server results in no video at all (or really delayed video, like 5 minutes waiting time). Wireshark shows that it's still trying to use the Providers CDN even when it cannot reach it.
It bothers me a lot because it performs poorly on evenings.
