So broken you can even execute arbitrary code.
Added to favorites right now. First time I hear about that glitch. I'm sure almost all of us went to Glitch City at leat once. I remember that in Pokémon Yellow, spending time there made Pikachu angrier every few minutes. And he was walking around like crazy
. Weird...
Edit: this is what I hate about living in a village.
It's strange, because months ago my download speed was 1.5x higher.
This is my Windows 8 Desktop Steam Theme : ) I also designed the Start Button .. No more Metro, Touch Screen Crap .
I just ordered a soldering iron and some solder. Will be attempting to repair the old Sabertooth X58 board by re-soldering all major power connections on the board such as the joints for the 16/24 pin power connector, four pin cpu connector and the power switch. Wish me luck and that I actually manage to keep my hands steady, will report the results after all is said and done providing I don't trash the board.
It blows my mind how well do games based on anime look lately, i would dare say they look way better even than the original anime. If someone made a spinoff based on those game engines it would look even better than the original.

Is it still under warranty?
Not this particular board since I removed the label with the serial number and didn't realize that would void the warranty. The other board that I bought after this board failed a year and a half ago may not be covered under warranty since I scraped the back of the pcb board trying to remove a stuck motherboard standoff.
Just received another Matrix Platinum HD7970.
This card appears to be older though (Previous one was D, this one is B) and seems to run much more stable and oc's a lot better. The cooler looks different, and the VRAM is now properly cooled. What happened that made them change the design of the card with no way of knowing it?
I was going to get a 4GB GTX 770 once the prices dropped, but upon seeing the 4GB ones haven't changed as much as I'd hoped, I did some research to find out exactly how much the extra 2GB made. Apparently, in any game, it makes zero difference. The only problem: I'm currently using a slightly stripped-down version of my texture mod combination for Skyrim, due to the fact that when I installed 4k everything, my 2GB framebuffer overflowed into RAM, which overflowed onto the hard drive, which then meant I was getting a frame every few seconds.
While I'm aware 4GB of VRAM isn't going to allow me to render each frame with 12GB of textures visible, I'd rather make the game I use most a little bit prettier, but am not sure it's worth £60.
Can't wait for the Thinkpad w540 to be available for order. I've been waiting for at least a year to find a laptop that 1. has a good screen with higher resolution than 1080p, 2. has a good CPU and GPU, 3. has a decent keyboard, and it looks like the w540 is the first laptop I was able to find with these 3 constraints. 2880x1620 IPS panel, Kepler NVIDIA Quadro, Haswell i7 \o/ .
It has a few other niceties too: 4 RAM slots (up to 32GB), NFC antenna under the trackpad, fingerprint reader, 1 Thunderbolt port (== possibility to add any PCI express card), etc.
The keyboard is not as good as it could be (I <3 my T420 keyboard so much) but it's still a lot better than the crap laptop manufacturers usually make.

Could someone explain to me the concept behind this? i've never understood, i can have a 50" HDTV that displays at a 1080p resolution but how is that possible to let's say a phone with a 7" display, basically what makes a display 1080p, or is my conception that a pixel has some relationship with length just wrong.
