Finally, Gog.com is hosting a sale!
Any games you planning to pick up for the summer? I thinking of picking up the Star Wars: X-wing/Tie fighter flight simulators + Rogue Squadron 3D. I already planning to pick up a few Wii/Gamecube titles on ebay. I might want to pick up a few more games on Steam. Eventually, I'll slow down my purchase on buying games for the summer so I can prioritize on building a new PC.
Once everything is settled. One last thing I want to do is to do my humbling research on finding the right tools that allow me to ROM dump Nintendo 64 game cartridge and possibly make my trip to a shooting range. Just need to make my last hurrah before I graduate.
Edit: Oh, I almost forgot. Given the nature that my HDD is starting to break on me. It might be a good time for me to make proper backup on my files and move it to a new minted HDD. Just need to make sure I make copies of my files so I can retain the integrity of my data. I had worst case scenario where my flash drive break/malfunction within less than a few months while I was doing my academic work. But I could always buy more HDD at a latter time.

I get emailed about twice a week about new Gog sales. They're far from rare.
By the way, if you want to keep track of when games go on sale (but only on websites actually licenced to sell games, so you won't see G2A and the like here) IsThereAnyDeal.com is pretty useful.
Recently, I've been playing again Mario 64 in RetroArch with the objective of getting all retroachievements in hardcode mode.
I was playing it on vulkan threaded angrylion plugin for maximum accuracy, referring to our discussion with Admentus about how do we prefer to play a game : pixel perfect or with all enhancements enabled.
I'm so familiar with this game that, at one point, I decided to take the enhanced approach, I'll share my troughs on it here.
First, 1080p IR (my screen is 1080p), I do like the Hires low pologon look, but then the main problem was the textures, their low res seem out of match with the IR. Unfortunatly, I did not found a texture pack that is faithful to the original look, or even look professional, which is important for me. Next, the 16:9 ratio. I know the plugin implementation is hacky and the game have clipping issues with it, witch is telling me every second that the game don't run correctly, I can't handle playing this. Like the Wii VC version, there is a N64 gameshark code that can be used, but we're out of luck, since retroachievements hardcore mode disables codes. But at least I know it's possible. Finally, per pixel lighting is a neat enhancement.
In conclusion, the main thing that keeps me away to play Mario 64 with enhancements are the textures. But I'll try other games, like OOT, which seems to have neat texture packs.
I manage to backup a few Virtual Console titles from my Wii U. At this time, I currently backup 5 titles from my Wii U library. I'm planning to build up my library over time where I want to preserve and archive my library tomorrow. All I need is to use the homebrew app called the 'DDD', make sure that the Wii U and PC are hook up in a LAN environment. From here on out, I should be able to locate the .rom file and store my digital copy in my directory file. While I may miss out the 3 VC game I originally purchase on my Wii Shop channel (one title called Bloody Wolf for the TurboGrafx-16 and the other 2 Super Nintendo titles are Super Star Wars), it won't matter that much to me.
Next lineup, it time for me to backup a couple Nintendo 64 games using the ROM dumper device. I'll look into it when I get back from vacation, thought I want to prioritize my new PC build on July first.
One day, I shall bite the bullet and commence my writing, once I'm down with my academic work.
And now ubisoft announced just dance 2020 right now for multiple platforms including Nintendo wii. It looks more work for Dolphin is coming but i love that wii still receives new games.

Just Dance is basically the only franchise that still keeps coming to the Wii each year. Well... Ok... There might be a few more franchises perhaps? I don't know...
Seriously, I have no idea why Ubisoft still keeps doing this after two console generations.

I think it's because it still sells well and since wii is old an sold well the price of the consoles now are way cheaper and more acessible for all players, including casual players that likes just dance.
The Wii version of Just Dance is exactly the same since Just Dance 2015 engine-wise. The folks at Ubisoft handling the Wii port probably just swaps the songs with the new ones, hit compile and then ship the game again. Proof of that is that you can still find references to DLCs and the karaoke option if you dig in the game files, even through these aren't supported anymore on the newer entries.
In other words, the series still sell well on the Wii to justify the cost of shipping a new game reusing the existing game code...
Just Dance Wii Edition is still used for medical purposes. A lot of hospitals bought a Wii for that.

I don't think Ubisoft keeps releasing Just Dance for the Wii because of charity?
As mbc07 pointed out, just re-using the same code, engine and a lot of assets saves them a ton of expenses, so yeah, still supporting the Wii version for Just Dance won't be such a risk.

Somehow I doubt the Wii is still being actively sold. Sure, there are still those who still want to purchase a Wii and given the insane popularity they should still be enough of them available for purchase, but didn't Nintendo basically stop producing them? In fact the Wii U should also have stopped being produced. The Wii Shop channel isn't even supported anymore.
