haha!!
had fun reading these 3 posts!! it is just because pcsx2 has speed hacks that are hell a lot easier to use (just two sliders and some option-to-check ones) well..if I get more familliar with dolphin I could start helping people with dolphin!! (in pcsx2 forums I suggested someone to do dmthng and he said..I LOVE YOU!)
We all wish emulators will be as easy to use as znes, just set the controls, boot up the game and go! go! go!

SSF could be on the podium of the most complicated emulators too
Yeah absolutely and Ootake the PC-Engine emulator also.
Ootake have so many options that it's ridiculous and confusing for the inexperienced user, still it plays Akumajou Dracula X Chi no Rondo perfectly.
Of XEBRA/ARBEX, SSF and Ootake, I find SSF the easiest of the three to use, mainly because I have been using it since 2006 and very little have changed GUI wise since then.
And XEBRA/ARBEX is the hardest of the three since...well at the first glance it looks easy to configure but in order to understand I think you need to be the one coded it because some of the options is really hard to figure out what to do with. Only plus is that the guy made an English version, I for one wouldn't even deal with it in Japanese.
Moreover Xebra's UI is quite "repulsive". Same thing for SSF. I don't know if Xebra is a japanese emulator but for sure SSF is. That might explain the "technical" side of these emulators
changing subject.. speaking of random...
read THIS
A.I. gone wrong
though i wish computers in future could actually tell off their users if they handled them carelessly or something

XEBRA/ARBEX is coded by a dude nick named Dr. Hell and he's from Japan.
I have to say that the coders behind XEBRA/ARBEX, SSF and Ootake which are all from Japan are very talented, accurate and thorough with their coding. I haven't had many problems with their emulators.
Though they need to work on the GUI part but that's pretty much it.
Dr. Hell? i recall coming across plugins with that name, cant remember which emu though

I agree these are very good emulators. The less "stable" was SSF but my version was a very old one. I might try a more recent one when I get more time. Xebra is a good alternative to ePSXe and earns to be tried. And for the younger here with Ootake you can play good games from a good console that has never been considered as it should have (out of Japan of course). A real shame
