Is there some sort of joke going on between you and NV? I mean first that other thread in Delfino Plaza, and this comment? I can't tell if you're trying to be provocative... or just weird. Either way, I'll ask you to refrain from comments like that (unless there's really something that explains it).

no i just feel like NV enjoys raining on people's parade (not in a bad way, he usually speaks the truth).
Warning taken

Yep! Now that I have internet that allows me to play it, I grabbed it in a black friday sale!
I wish we had Black Friday here >.<

Should also get the ethernet adapter, it makes a lot of difference (Even if you're just using a wifi bridge or something, the WiiU wifi sucks ass)

The first or the second of the series? If you picked the first i definitely suggest picking the second too. The whole story is amazing.
Oh, no no, Splatoon. I don't have Legend of Heroes yet.
I've spent the last 24 hours trying to recruit people to use hashcat to crack three SHA512Crypt unix passwords for a CTF/Hackathon, with the instructions from a team-mate that he'd definitely already checked the common password list which the question was clearly named after, so just to try alphanumeric things of length 5. After recruiting eight people's GPUs, and findign out tat suddenly nVidia are much better at hashing than AMD, and also that Maxwell is much better at hashing than anything, and that the GTX 980 Ti is more powerful than the other seven GPUs I got, all of which were supposedly high end, I decided to use the CPU-based version on the dictionary file, as I'd already downloaded it. In mere moments it found the passwords, all of which were around ten characters long, so we'd have never found them any other way.
I'm getting my permit and inheriting my father's car. It has a leaking transmission coolant line and the transmission is slipping. The car picks right up from cold start but drags and doesn't want to move, engine rpms just rev up once car has warmed a bit. Is the transmission bad on this thing or will it be drivable once I get the hose replaced and fresh transmission fluid in it? I can't afford the cost of a new transmission or a rebuild but I want to keep the car going since it was my dad's car. There is sentimental value and history behind it so I want to keep it going as long as possible.
Congrats on working towards the permit! I don't know much about cars, but I'd replace the hose first and add more fluid before assuming the worst. Transmission problems are not fun (or cheap) so I understand the "yikes" factor going on here. If you can't get the car to a shop after you try a new hose + fluid, maybe take a video of what's going on and show someone else. I'm sure some experts online would be able to point you in the right direction.
On the bright side, look at it this way. The car can be fixed up any time. If now's not a good time, you can keep it until it becomes feasible to patch it up. Anyway, keep it up. Hope things turn out well for you.
