I wouldn't mind these HD remakes if Nintendo aimed a bit higher than the lowest bar possible. And I do think emulators letting you already play these games with HD and hi-res textures raises the bar.
"But it's more than a prettier version of the same game... to make this game even more enjoyable, we've decided to create a new amiibo figure."

The textures are higher resolution, but technically not "remade" since they're just using the same images they downscaled nine years ago for the original versions of ZTP. They did this exact same thing with Wind Waker HD, which I'm personally quite fine with – I've generally found that most hires texture packs feel really off by virtue of not being the exact same textures I've been looking at for the past decade minus the Vaseline.
thats what i meant
they reused the textures from before but this time they look sharper cause the console can pump it out and they indeed didn't downscale it.
also, WW HD looks fine to me. but this is basically because the textures are simple and iirc they originally weren't that low res either
i remember using LOZ:WW textures in Phantasy star for a texture mod and it looked better then the originals.
so either PSO's textures sucked or LOZ had good ones XD
Incoming rant from an angry austria living at the border
Spoiler:
At least one of them was, infact, a refugee who got there illegally. In Austria, you see people come over the Slovenian border and they WANT to be treated like Gods. Most of them are not even Syrians, just people from Iran/Iraq or any other "not as well doing country" who think they can get a better life at our expense. Just recently they started giving out money instead of food to the refugees because they would just throw it away and not eat it. Â And now they are starving because they send it to their relatives in Syria / wherever they came from instead of using it for buying food.
What's even worse, all our politicans would just hate Hungary for building that fence. Now they woke up from their "the world is all peace" dream and are now doing the same fucking thing. Which they previously complained about and even warned Hungary about possible sanctions. Like who made these idiots be politicans, and ape would have done a better job.
And I'm not being racist right now, infact I have met quite a few refugees that spoke fluent english, followed the police instructions and were just generally sad because they lost/left behind everything they had. Those are the minority and truly the kind of people I would like integrated into our culture.
The only way to prevent any of this happening is not to bomb ISIS, it's not to send the refugees back to Syria. It's to prevent babies being born into religions. Like, if you are a baby, why would you care what your religion is. You should have the choice at 16+ years, if you are a baby you can't determine anything for yourself. If I were to have children, I would do just that. Have them see the world as it is, not as they would like it to be according to their religion, then they can decide what they want to believe in. It's their choice, not mine.

I wish politicians cared less about political correctness and more about taking a correct decision. Islam was never a religion of love and coexistence and never will be. You can live your whole life with those people and one day literary go and stab you in the back for no good reason.
^ I don't like how you generalize and try to create facts with the little you know about the religion. It's really easy for the media to set people up against a religion by explicitly mentioning it everywhere when something bad happens.

You generalize about people, you can't generalize about a religion, it's teachings are specific and there is the opposite of cooexistence in islam's teachings, what is there to discuss about it? Yes not all muslims are like that but everyone who takes islam's teachings by heart is. That's not the same with christianity or other religions, nowhere does it says kill the infidels or something like that in christianity. What christians do yet is another story...

I am a Muslim, no idea what you're talking about, what teachings are exactly against coexistence?
