Yeah it also make deleting multiple videos hell. Such as scroll until I find the videos I want to mark for deletion then scroll way back to the top to press delete. They didn't think to make the controls scroll down with the page/content. I've came across complaints to Google on their products blog/forum which results in complete disregard of their poor design choices and dismiss any criticism then the close the topic to prevent further comments. Hell keep the auto scrolling but at least add a fallback to non-javiscript and add pagination somewhere easily accessible that doesn't require (much) scrolling. Examples of javascript done right can be seen in the latest commercial forum software such as IPB4 and Xenforo or other websites and services.

Press the Home key on your keyboard.
Yeah but then I also lose my place so it's a double edged sword.
It seems Mr Barry was banned again -.-
The internet is a strange place.
A youtube video can apparently have 2 views and 4 likes.
I tried uploading a screenshot but imgur doesn't seem to like it, and it keeps failing.
And now I discovered that getting 20,000 comments in a disqus thread can completely crash it, and prevent it from loading (instead displaying a "fatal error" message).

First time using youtube? View count doesn't update in real time.
DJBarry's ban should be ending soon (today iirc), as long as he fact-checks everything he says thrice before posting it, and follows the rest of the forum rules, it shouldn't happen again, hopefully.
@Rachel: Afaik like count doesn't update in real time either. Hence me making fun of youtube.
Also, it seems that even view count simply updates when youtube feels like it; it has happened before that I clicked on a newly uploaded video (read: uploaded 3 seconds ago) with 1 view and by the time the page loaded, it had 2 views. I.e. the view count updated twice in the first 5-10 seconds after upload.

Like count updates much more often. If you check comments on a recently uploaded popular video, there is literally always at least 100 people asking how it has 300 views and 10,000 likes.
