Looks like something to do with your installed WX libraries. When I compile Dolphin, I always tell it to statically build and link to the WX in its Externals folder (you can edit your CMakeLists.txt file to cmake to do this for you). Never had a WX related compile-time issue with Dolphin so far.
I'll do that, then, since it seems to work.
EDIT: Yes, it did work.
EDIT MORE: In other news, I have just found out that skype interrupts all other audio to make sounds. And uses an unreasonably-high amount of CPU time. I'm a little annoyed by this. It is now time to divorce all of my friends that I only communicate with via skype.
EDIT EVEN MORE: Ah, how fun it is to have something that should be plug 'n' play not work. Why does my PS3 controller have to not work with arch? I really thought the building error was going to be the last problem I ran into trying to get dolphin to work on here.
I KNEW I did everything right! Suck on that, people who rightfully believe that I'm incompetent given the fact that I am!

The AUR package name is slightly outdated, but it seems to pull from Git, since I only compiled a few days ago (without all this compiler trouble, probably has some fix in the script) and it gave me 4.0-2440 (which is about 2 days old).
AUR things with -git at the end pretty much always pull straight from git. The AUR itself doesn't host anything but the .pkgbuild, which is free to contain anything from "wget
http://not-the-AUR.com/src/app-src-0.9.3.tar.gz | tar -zxvf && cd ./app-src/ && build.sh" to a git clone/svn checkout command and a whole build script with dozens of options (e.g. mesa-git). (Semi-related: I had to do a good bit of fuckery to get mesa-git to build, and having vim as the default CLI text editor never fucking helped. I swear, it somehow took me longer to figure out how to permanently change $EDITOR to nano than it did to build mesa-git correctly.)
I think I did something wrong. That happens when I enable post shaders of any sort.
If this is an actual bug, though, maybe someone should make a bug report (if one does not already exist). Because I sure as hell can't. Because I'm bad at writing and stuff.
Oh noes.... We "lost" twitch....
