No you did not, but at least you tried. You were only out by one f, though, which isn't terrible.

I cannot read your signature at all. The font is small, jagged, and the same color as the background.
Also if you were to quote me on something I would prefer it if you used my real name.
I dont intend on opening any thread asking for support on my dolphin, atleast until i get myself a new computer so its not a big deal to me.

Thought I was the only one doing things like that.
I wonder what your neobrain interpretation sounds like.
Quote: I tell everyone my real name. I don't understand why so many people on the internet care that much about giving away basic information if they've done nothing wrong. Unless the other person is a serial killer I don't see the harm in it.
It depends on the person ofcourse. And nowadays, the majority of the world isn't 'afraid' to put their information on the internet.
You can literally find their life stories on the internet.
Quote:Holy crap that citation looks good! Did you use a web application for that?
No, I composed it after checking out how a generic APA citation looked like.
Why does anyone need a web application for something like this?

I should start a video blog or sth. I love how it freaks out people when they hear the voice of someone for the first time after having read his posts for ages :p

I thought everyone did this? I don't see any other way that is humanly possible to absorb information from text.
To my knowledge there are only two ways to read text:
1. Speak it out loud and hear your own voice (speaking out loud)
or
2. Have your brain "speak it for you" in which case you should hear it in your head instead of through your mouth (although usually you don't notice it, silent reading). It's hard to explain but everyone should know what I'm talking about because everyone does it.
Your brain associates each symbolic word with a series of sounds. The only difference between listening to someone talk and reading is this additional translation stage. Both trigger thoughts, memories, and visualizations.
Although you probably meant that as a joke, I can never be too sure with you.

That would be pretty cool.

Exactly what neobrains text sounds like when read by a "default american". Internal voice doesn't have things like tone or accents. You tend to read things the way you would say them.
Quote:Why does anyone need a web application for something like this?
Because it's easier and you don't have to worry about doing it wrong.
Yeah, I was joking. I can say that I don't come up with little character voices for people when I read posts, that would be strange. How do you come up with a voice for someone you've never seen, heard or met before?

What would your videoblog be about?

Then your statement about everyone having 'unique' voices doesn't apply if you read it in your own voice in yourself.
It depends, I for instance read things sometimes with tones and accents. Like neobrains posts.

Could make it about quantum mechanics but I guess that would severely limit my target audience since 90% of my viewers would be people from the dolphin forums ... :p
