If you had a 1 in 10000000 chance to develop cancer, an 18% increase in that risk is still nothing.
Statistics!
In your example, a 100% increase is only 2 in 10 million. That's exactly what's going on here. The risk of getting the specific form of cancer the studies looked at (colorectal or something) is like 5% among men. With bacon/processed meats, the risk factor ups to 6% at best.
Shocking I know. You could probably offset that with activities and foods that reduce your chances of cancer (exercise, complementing bacon with healthier foods...)
I recently started to be medicated, I am on an antidepressant which also serves as an anti-paranoia and anti-anxiety. In my time being medicated, I've become much, much better. I've been able to think about things, and to react to situations without accidentally escalating them. I've talked about my issues with my family, and figured out the reasons for their actions which hurt me so, and realize that there was nobody acting in poor intent; circumstance caused a feedback loop of negativity. In a quick summary; my occasional outbursts from inability to handle things caused my mother to experience emotional pain from all of her children, she began acting in that, which began making my mood worse to the point where my vault of nasty crap I shoved away was opened. When this was opened, she pretty much lost one of her children and her own mood went south, at which point she began treating us worse, to which I started shutting away more and having issues with my family more.
My mother and I have thoroughly discussed my main issue in my life and she plans to make changes to her own actions to accommodate me as much as is required, and I plan to probably go back to what I did before I started descending to this point, 5 years ago. Except, now, the antidepressants also seem to help me react to stimulus better, so I can be in more crowded places with a lower risk of being overloaded.
Also, I have started recording Euro Truck Simulator 2 footage for uploading on youtube. The aim is to provide long, mildly interesting videos with relatively sparse commentary. It's not entirely common for any sort of commentated gameplay to be commentary-sparse, but this is how I prefer it. When I have a sufficient backlog of ETS2 footage, I will start recording another game I enjoy which I can make long, sparsely-commentated footage of. The end goal is that I have provided someone with a style of video that they enjoy, which they wouldn't be able to find normally, and therefore provide this person with enjoyment.

Technically, your color right now is magenta, and it's a nice color!
Besides, true pink has poor contrast against a white background...
