Looks like we have a Claude François-style plug there... X)
Also, I forgot to mention yesterday, but there is something going on with Undertale as well. Toby Fox is gonna announce something today (in 3 hours now): https://twitter.com/tobyfox/status/10572...01376?s=20 (check also what he retweeted just before, kinda intriguing...)

Ohh Undertale. One of my favorite games of all time.
Perhaps a sequel? I believe Toby Fox mentioned somewhere something about having some similar elements, while still going for something new?
It would be amazing if he could stick to what made Undertale so superb. It is quite tricky to come up with the next great idea that is going to triumph over Undertale. I just hope he doesn't sway too much from what he can do best. Making a game to appease to the general public wouldn't do well in his favor, every triple A studio already does so.

Now that the 24 hours went away, let the hype chaos begin...
WARNING: Don't you dare spoil yourself if you haven't checked it yet...
Spoiler:
This is clearly Undertale 2, without any doubt. Monsters are now living in the upper world (even though I'm still curious why you are still the only human with them) and the well-known characters are still here.
I really liked this gameplay improvement in the Dark World (and yes, in the Dark World, because you can see that in the light world, it's still the good ol' Undertale UI we have). It really resemble now with old-style RPGs, with a little more tactics, without losing the original charm of Undertale. The TP system, quite curious at first, is pretty interesting, even though I'm not a big fan of trying to do the most "near misses" in battle. The music is still SUPER AWESOME (btw Susie's theme, best music of Deltarune already \m/). This chapter was quite easy, must say, unless you have met "the prisoner". Oh boy, this one gave me quite a challenge. I'll give him a "between Undyne and Sans" in the difficulty scale.
I personally did a 100% pacifist run, which was good btw. I don't now if you guys tried another path.
But I ended up with more question: How monsters have already forgotten about their past (like seriously, the dialogues when you explore the city are quite curious when you know everything about Undertale)? How is Kris (btw really familiar with Frisk, like Deltarune with Undertale, only one letter is missing though) ended up being the son of Toriel and Asgore? How is Asriel still here?!?
And finally... WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT AT THE VERY END?!?
I may have more to say, but I'll wait for your reactions first... Anyway I really enjoyed my day yesterday playing it!
P.S. : Also that Smash reference... Is it only a joke or...?
The last part, especially the last part at the end, yeah that got me quite hyped. Finally Nintendo! Adventure mode returns! I hope it is going to be part of the base V1.0 game?
I hope they throw in some unique challenges such a boss fights, a bit of platforming and so on in addition to the standard Smash fights. The world map idea seems quite interesting. I also noticed there was voice-acting for several of the characters during this Adventure mode trailer. Hopefully we get to see more of these scenes similar as in the Subspace Emissary. But that would be a massive undertaking... But again, Smash Ultimate also is the massive undertaking. Also everything they could think of is being put into the game.
Still no Banjo-Kazooie and Geno (perhaps future DLC?), and Isaac is being cast aside from being a fighter by making an Assist Trophy out of him.
I am not sure what to say about all this Spirits collecting. The idea seems nice... But it feels like they are just unlockable 2D art assets you unlock and can equip as some kind of armor / weapon like in any RPG. It is unique for sure, but I don't think I will get that feeling I am actually unlocking and experiences these characters which didn't make the cut as a fighter.
I fear might the whole leveling of Spirits and all the stuff that is being added might lose sight of what Super Smash Bros. is actually all about? It is commendable so much is getting added and changed. If I mentioned previously it would have been a port of the Wii U version, that doubt is now completely gone for sure. But... I am not entirely sure is Smash is really evolving to the next level. As mentioned, these additions such as Spirits seems like side-content rather than expanding and adding new modes that serves as primary content. I could still be wrong here. I am not saying this is happening right now, I am just a bit skeptical about it as I usually am.
I will know for sure if Smash has been improved for the better sufficient enough for me once it has been released. But I am getting more and more intrigued.
Just watched the Smash Bros Direct and boy, I can't remember the last time a video game made me hype so much!
Spoiler:
On a side note, almost all I see in the YouTube comments is people whining because character X didn't get in or complaining because feature Y isn't there anymore... When did the Smash Bros fan base became that, umm... toxic? Geez
OK, so my own reaction to the Direct :
Meh
meh
Noooooo I like the trophies... ;_;
Berk, recycled stickers from Brawl
Meh meh
DLCs to buy, like SSB4, what a surprise...
... LOL Pirhana Plant as a character!
So, no story mode again I gue... OH SHIT
Still hyped anyway, and finally, story mode is back! I must say, I wasn't expecting something like that at all, is a really interesting idea! Hope also that cutscenes and other stuffs will build a solid story like Brawl (without the pain some levels in Brawl were)...
