Solution, stop buying them.
I've made a habit of buying games I immediately plan on playing. I've ended up not buying games that I never actually got around to having the urge to play. They're not going anywhere.
This also works out better for me because I have a lot of storage and fast internet so I can keep my games digital.
Yeah, it doesn't work well for niche games. If you don't buy them when they're released, it can be a pain to grab them years or even months later, especially physical ones. And it's even worse for limited editions.

How can I feed my addiction like that? That's not a solution, that's just a different kind of problem. /s
In reality, my situation is that I spend too much time developing an emulator rather than using it play games. I was actually going to start playing Mario Party Advance in GBE+, but I found a bug (minor graphical with certain text boxes) and I can't rest until I track it down.
However, it's not really a problem having all of these games. I just joke like it is. I've been into game collecting for a year now, and something like 95% of the games coming in are old GB/GBA/NDS games I wanted years ago but never got around to buying them. I don't mind the backlog, because I only collect games that I actually intend to play. I don't buy trophies. Right now's a great time to build a collection like this. Prices haven't reached insanity levels for most of Nintendo's portable library, unlike a ton of their console games, so it's kind of a waste not to buy more than I can play right now. It's not like things are going to be cheaper in the future. For Nintendo handhelds (up to 3DS), we've already hit the bottom for natural depreciation on most games, so the only fluctuation is going to be upwards if nostalgia turns into sustained demand. Even if prices remain stable, inflation comes into play in the long-term. Of course, if the entire "retro" game market really is on a bubble like some think it is, prices across the board are bound to crash, but I'm not sure that's going to happen at all.
Anyway, the real "solution" is to play more games. Don't go outside. Don't sleep. Maybe sometimes eat
EDIT - Forgot to mention that I also kinda need a large library of games to dump and test in GBE+, so stopping my shopping spree isn't an ideal option
So I was going to block some MAC addresses on my wifi, but every time I try to enable filtering I get an error

I have to reduce this to 2x IR for heavy games tho (last one I remember is F-Zero GX).
OK, thanks. Was looking at a $600 Acer notebook on Amazon, not sure if there are any 1xxxM GPUs and the few that have 950M+ seem grossly overpriced.Â
Wish there was a manufacturer that would allow you to choose specific parts you wanted on a notebook and they'd make it for you.Â
I don't need Fire Emblem Echoes limited edition...
Aaaaaand I ordered it. Damn.

Took you long enough, it's sold out now (here in the US for now), but I ordered it as soon as I saw it, didn't want to repeat fates again

Tbh I'm lucky as f*ck. I missed the preorder rush in France. Sometimes shops don't sell all their stock at once (because they don't know yet for sure how many they'll got) and I was looking for the limited edition at the exact same time one shop opened the 2nd wave of preorders.
So I was listening to my music playlist on youtube and apparently DarudeVevo deleted sandstorm from their channel. Good news is the video is still on Darude channel and the vevo website XD
