neobrain = the modern Einstein!
It's been so long I almost forgot about that game, and I haven't played any of the Rogue Squadron games in over a decade.
Nice work.
Aren't there awards or prizes in the FOSS community, like the equivalent to Oscars, Grammies, or Nobel Prizes that we could give to delroth and neobrain? I mean, it's the least you guys deserve.
Oi Shonumi, don't forget the guys behind the scenes like skid, degasus, etc, etc. They deserve an Oscar too!

To be fair, any sort of award like that should go to the Dolphin Team as a whole (I think that's how some Nobel Prizes get shared anyway). To be even more fair, such an award has to exist in the first place. A quick googling doesn't turn up much on OSS awards, at least nothing like Nobel Prize-esque awards for achievements that have been years in the making.
If we got enough people, we could make our own emu-awards that recognizes the best achievements/projects in the emulation community. But then you get into the business of determining what's worthy and what's not and voting about every little thing. I still think it'd be worth it even then.

Isn't that a bit unfair? I get what you mean though.

I'd love to be part of that business. We have all the controls in our hands and get to decide who wins.
"Does this award pay anything?"
"No"

Perhaps we should pay them with food? I'll send neobrain a box of good ol' American mac and cheese for the zfreeze work.
Gimme his address and I will
