Heck, you don't have to go back that far in this thread to figure everything out. Apathy is strong among people.

Don't tempt DacoTaco! You might just find your user title changed to that.
Does my username sound dumb? Unprofessional? Create a bad impression on Github and job applications?
Um, user title, not user name. It's the text under your name.
Joke ruined!
I'm making a serious comment. Sometimes I've given out my email to others, feeling somewhat self-conscious or embarrassed that "jimbo1qaz" looks immature, dumb, or unprofessional.
EDIT: I changed my title anyway.
I would say it looks unprofessionnal. Also it could be looked as a randomly generated email for spam.

now, if i could...
a delphino plaza mod can't do that stuff
there was a time i was admin and i could do that stuff but...
I have a professional email alongside my personal email, which is something that was recommended to me by the school advisors. A good format is (last name)(first initial or name)@whatever.com. Use Gmail or outlook, as yahoo and aol have a "unprofessional" air about them from what I've been told
