I'm not sure if this is old news or not, but apparently someone made a homebrew app for Wii U that allows it to run gamecube games.

Indeed, internships are my main hope now, the boss at the place i did my internship is a really nice guy, if i asked him i'm pretty sure he'd take me up again, the pay was really sweet too for an internship, but, the place is a commercial firm, not a lot of computer stuff to do, most of my work involved using microsoft excel, inputting cheque book details, invoices, e.t.c, that's not something a CS student should be doing right!?

lol, yeah it also works with the Wii Family Edition (the ones with no gamecube support).
