Hi All, in regards to the OP i still have slow downs with these settings, and also flickering which is fixed when i use VSYNC? Anyway, i was hoping that someone with similar specs to me in my sig maybe able to help share there settings to get a much fast copy, i though my PC would definitely be able to handle SS. Also, is there any benefit using AF over 2x?
it's better without the fog at the bottom

Thank you Smile (sorry for my bad english, it's not my native language)

Maybe, I have the same CPU as you but OC'd even higher and it still lags for me. Might be my video card though. You can play it fine using 7719 and Skip EFB ticked but then the slingshot and bow will have issues.
Just finished the game using both 7719 (until about 6/8th done) and then 3.0 till the end (after finding out save states actually work lol). For the most part the game ran very smoothly on both except for the occasional crash on 7719. Also, playing through the credits on 3.0 has dropped speed to anywhere from 40-60% which is kind of annoying because the music is jittery Sad.

A bug i did notice with 3.0 though is sometimes music would double over and one version of the song would be playing while a copy of it would play but maybe 1 or 2 seconds behind. It would almost be like an echo effect, but would go away sometimes if I entered another room or a music change happened.

Though for a 'review' of skyward sword in general? This game rocks. Seriously. This is on par with OOT for sure. I believe it was a bit easier (you are babied a lot with information) but on terms of storyline, creativity, challenges, length, abilities, design, enviroment, ect... -> This game is ridiculously amazing. If you are reading this and want to know if this game is as good as OOT, it is. Play it. For real Smile

Are you using DX11 or EFB to Ram? If not, had you read the recommended settings you would have seen it mentioned the only way to fix this is to use DX11 or EFB to Ram or a combination of the two.
activating EFB to Ram decreases my FPS to 2, but the stripes disappear and everything is blurry now Big Grin

And yes I tried DX9 and DX11 same problem.

€: Okay it's working now, the 'Emulated Motion Plus' files caused the problem but the 'Dolphin_x64_texcache-rewrite' in the thread fixed the problem Big Grin

Hi !
Could you please tell me where did you find the 'Dolphin_x64_texcache-rewrite' ?

Here's that problem I was talking about earlier (this is with EFB to RAM):

Notice the green "clouds" which appears where the enemies have been and hang around on the screen until something else moves in that area. I think it's supposed to be motion blur.

I find that when indoors things in the distance (not that much of a distance, pretty close) like doors are blurry, why is this and how do I fix it?

Also, in some cutscenes Links face is either blurry or out of focus, how do I fix it?

Thanks.

Also, I am using r7719 and I have EFB Texture to RAM off.

Can I make another thread for this? No responses so far.
