Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hello!ive been testing out skyward sword on my current laptop, wich is:

cpu: Intel core 2 duo 2.4GHz
ram: 4gb
gpu: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3670 512 mb

and it seems to be running decent at 720p, getting around 28 frames in the beginign area ( using the revision that was posted about 7 pages back otherwise around 22-24 frames).

Just wondering how this game would run on this laptop i will be getting soon:

cpu: Intel Core i7-2670QM 2.2GHz Quad Core CPU
ram: 4gb
gpu: 1GB GeForce GT 540

Maybe worse, it only uses 2 cores.

I doubt it, the processor architecture is much better, not to mention it's turbo boost probably clocks it higher than what he has. The graphics chipset is much better too.

my dolphin stop working when i reach surface for the first time in
loz ss, its stop when i'm on the video moment at the spiral land..
is there any way to skip the video??

my fps work at 20fps which is way too slow and it such pain that
loz ss having so many conversation and video moment..

I've a little trouble with Skyward Sword. It always run at 29fps, never 30fps in the title screen.
I have tested Dolphin r7719 and 3.0-305 with different settings.
Is this normal ? (of course this is not very important^^)
(spec in my profil)

I noticed you aren't using 7719. It has been said numerous times that 7719 is the preferred revision. I am almost done with it and not a single issue and looks fantastic!

Just completed the normal story and man dare i say this is the best zelda, nintendo ever produced
