I get this was all related to the IR Camera, but it sounded a bit confusing having "infrared" on all those sentences. Perhaps switch to Sensor Bar, pointer simulation and emulated pointer, respectively, to better reflect the actual accessory and how these options are referred on the GUI?

Android TV is correct. I usually catch that but, huuuge report, so um, whoops.

HDRI (High Dynamic Range Imaging) is correct. Basically it means rendering in HDR for better, more accurate SDR images. Not to be confused with "HDR" which is all about the presentation side. It's how games were supporting "HDR" 10 years before HDR displays were a thing - they were rendering in HDR, while presenting in SDR. But yes, it's confusing, especially since many games in the early days labeled their "HDRI" as HDR. Still, the distinction matters, as HDRI is still a thing. In a modern game, if you disable the HDR option in game, it will then present in SDR, but the rendering itself is still HDR. That's HDRI. You can't actually totally disable HDR in a modern title, you can only switch between HDR -> SDR and HDR -> HDR. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-dynam...ge_imaging (please forgive how rambly this explanation is, I'm HELLA burned out)
