The great gfycat purge has begun! I've tested the new code (which is actually a fixed derivative of some old code we used already, thanks leoetlino for the original code!) in multiple browsers and OSes, and had JMC test it on Android Pie, so everything should be great! If anyone wants to give it a try, the first report is the latest! https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2019/02/01/...by-zackhow

I'll be applying this throughout all of our reports. No more needing to worry about gfycat changing their API again and breaking old articles! Not to mention the weird footer and tracking rubbish and other nonsense they've been adding lately.

EDIT: While I'm at it I'm updating youtube embeds to their new code as well, so now every article will be properly responsive and mobile friendly. (·ω·)b EDIT EDIT: Ok this is more work than I thought because side-by-side image code wasn't responsive either. For the most part it won't be too bad since side by side images are pretty rare. For the most part. Ooph.

EDIT 2: Even for articles where the gfycats aren't broken, it is *so much better* now!

Looks great! Thank you very much for your hard work, as always!
hope the ubershader will get compatible with vulkan (especially moltenVK) soon...

1) Whose this post in response to?
2) Can you give some background on this gfycat stuff/the issue?
3) When's the bi-monthly Progress Report going to be ready??

This post isn't a response to a specific user, more of a general heads-up about improvements to the blog UI. I can't really give that much on the background behind the gfycat issues, but they did address the lack of a blog article this month in this Twitter post: https://twitter.com/Dolphin_Emu/status/1...0839312384
Now is a pretty good time to follow them on Twitter, considering how inconsistent they post these articles lately.
Thanks for the headsup regarding that tweet. I unfortunately don't use social media much at all (facebook, twitter, myspace, instagram etc).

But there's a lot of little things that don't really fit that format well, but that we'd really like to mention in some way. So we're starting something new: the Dolphin Progress Report. It's a monthly series were we highlight a selection of interesting but small updates that are always happening but are easy to miss. The big updates are important, sure, but it's these little things that keep Dolphin moving forward. And every month there'll be a fun little bonus at the end Big Grin.

So as not to spam the board with tons of threads, all Dolphin Progress Reports will point to here for their comments. Every month when a new report is released, we'll post a comment here to let everyone know and to open up discussion.

You can view a list of all progress reports and get an RSS feed special for them on the Dolphin Progress Report Blog Series page.

Since we're just starting off, the April update includes March!

Feel free to discuss this month's update below.

Can you add this emulator to Android mobiles other people would like to play this game too
This isn't the place to ask that kind of question. If you have anything you want to ask about Dolphin's Android version, please make a new thread in our dedicated Android Forum. This thread is only for Dolphin's Progress Reports and related subjects discussed in each article.

Where did you read is not compatible?
