This thread has mostly been a "wish" kinda thread (see some of the more outlandish "feature" requests) though some people are realistic and their ideas get implemented.

Well shoot, if I knew that then I would have been on IRC ages ago!

...though wait, is it bad to talk to the devs about a missing function via IRC if I myself cannot code for squat?
Depends on who you ask or who answers you and what the feature is. Generally, even semi-informed requests are favorable. If it's something stupid, don't be surprised if you're told off ("can dolphin haz GBA player with GB printer and e-reader support???" Crap like that...)
Maybe give give the next stable revision of Dolphin an update button to make it more convenient when moving onto a newer stable build. Maybe have a notification option to notify you of a new stable update.

Well it was going to be about the customization of buttons & functions on a real wiimote that I asked about just a couple pages back. Personally I think it's not a silly thing considering that we already have a very indepth emulated wiimote configurator and a gamecube controller button customizer, but you never know...
I don't think Real Wiimotes can be customized like that. The DolphinBar actually does allow you to use a Wiimote as a gamepad though, so you could technically use a Wiimote as an emulated Wiimote.

...hence why I suggested this functionality in this here thread a couple pages back.

The issue is that using the wiimote IR pointer with such a method would be sub-optimal.
I don't think you get exactly how hard of a feature that would be.

Guys, what about my idea.

It's a fine idea that's been suggested a million times over.

So is it going to be implemented in the next stable revision of Dolphin?
