Yeah, I would really like to be able to map a wiimote to a xbox360 or usb controller... the move sensor could be the analogic...
I tried to play nsmb with a friend over the internet. I hosted the game and my friend connected via ip/port. we could also write to each other messages at the netplay dialog window.
As we checked the "click here when ready" box, the game started and I thought "nice, this worx!" -> but after a few seconds dolphin crashes on both sides and my friend saw some lines of chinese symbols at the dialog window. I think I saw em too, but only one line..
It may be an connection issue (something went wrong at the handshake?) which results in a buffer overflow. Hopefully this will be fixed soon Smile because the netplay functionality rocks.

Yeah, Netplay unfortunately doesn't work although it'd be one of the most important features for me.

The Chinese characters Pop Up because there seems to be some sort of Unicode Conversion Error in that part of the Code.
I agree with you, netplay would be another milestone Wink
In my opinion the chinese characters came from a buffer overflow.
How about a way to save all the config settings as well as the button mapping and preference to like a txt file or something so we dont have to go in and redo it everytime we update?

also a way to re-map the hotkeys as well as a list of all the hotkeys (so far i only know about shift+fx/ctrl+fx)

30FPS in pretty much any PC game is acceptable.

30FPS in Dolphin means the game is running at half speed.

I'd like a fix for this bug too, this one is really annoying me, but please, this is a feature request thread, not a bugfix request thread...

Did you forget everything after the comma?
Running dol's inside IOS images.

Games with bootloaders (eg. Metroid Prime Trilogy) would benefit from this greatly, as it currently can't handle games which have multiple .dol files :

The idea is you can open the ISO image with right-clicking Properties, go into the Filesystem tab, find the .dol file you want to boot, select and right-click it and select "Boot this file" or something.

Dunno if it is easy to implement.

Is there anyway to use the wiimote instead of the keyboard to play gamecube games? i've search but couldn't find anything.
The emulator can't use wiimote in gamecube games, but it is possible with GlovePIE and PPJoy.

And yet. I have script for using wiimote and nunchuk. But they are compatible with [GC]Zelda-TP only. It is almost impossible to make a script, that gets ideal controls in all games. If you need this script, write PM.
I've only been using Dolphin a couple of days. One thing that would be useful for me would be per game presets for the plugins.

I find some games run better in DX9 and others in GL. Not having to swap settings each time I run a game would be really nice.

Thanks for the excellent emulator, was stunned when I tried the Zelda games and they worked so well. Means I don't need so many consoles cluttering up the TV cabinet Smile
