Am guessing it has been? Big Grin

If you are referring to being able to read the discs directly, the GC and I believe the Wii as well read there discs backwards from what i understand. Instead of reading from the Inside of the disc to the Outside like most CD/DVD drives do it reads it from the outside in. I might have that backwards but regardless the Drive itself would physically have to be able to read that way which very few do. Its not a driver issue its more of a physical limitation.

I hook up my real GC pad to my PC for Dolphin which is great, and rumble does work in other emulators like Project 64.

The Wiimote supports rumble already, so why not the Gamecube pad?

Even the real CG-controller doesn't rumble? That's funny, cuz my Logitech Rumblepad 2 does ^^ ...others not, though

The real GC controller does rumble on a real GC. I own one. Besides wiki it and it'll tell you. As far as rumbling in dolphin. It has been implemented for a little over a year now i think. Make sure you are using the latest release. Select "njoy by Falcon4ever". Make sure you have the Pad Enabled option next to the Gamepad Detection Dropdown. Then bottom Right corner of the Controller Config window it says Rumble Settings. Check the Enable Rumble setting, choose your strength and volla! I have been using a Ps2 Controller using a Ps2 to Usb Adapter and rumble works fine. I have not personally tested a real GC controller with dolphin because i do not have an adapter for that. But as stated above, a Real GC controller has Rumble and Dolphin Supports Rumble. Also if this doesn't help, try updating your drivers for what ever adapter you are using. I had the very same problem with mine when i first got mine. Had to update it especially for Vista and its been working ever since. Good Luck!
How about something to increase the speed of the emulators CPU? could increase the speed of games by a little.
It would be great if Dolphin could handle a virtual SD card, for things like brawl stages, replays and snapshots. (Although screenshots nullify the use of snapshots lol)

A virtual SD card would also allow functionality for many things like making a photo channel work, and seeing how the system handles SD access.
It would be nice that, in "Properties of an iso or wad" I should be able to save, with a right click as it currently does, the banner (in it's original size) and icon of a game that it's stored in the banner.bin file in each "data" save folder.

It seems that this banner.bin file it's different from the one located in opening.bnr files. This file that Dolphin creates each time a game saves for the first time seems to contain the banner, icon (in their original size) and game details, for example "Super Smash Bros An All Star Battle!". However Dolphin only shows those details and the banner shrinked, with loss of picture quality.

I know that you can do it because I tested the Wii Save Import feature with a Wii Sports save data from my Wii and Dolphin succesfully imported it and created a banner.bin that shows the Wii Sports banner. I never runned Wii Sports in the emu so, Dolphin made the banner from the data.bin imported save file.

And what about showing the game icon instead of the banner when selecting a game to run, or decide to view banner or icon or, show both!

I´m sorry, I didnt read all the pages because I have short time. I wonder if we could set video resolution to 320x240 would improve playability in games with low FPS. My CPU right now aint really faster so I think I could benefit from this setting. Is it possible?
The difference between 320x240 to 640x480 is only a quarter of that from 640x480 to 1280x960, so I guess the performance boost would only be marginal. Also, AFAIK 640x480 is video accelerated whereas 320x240 is not, so you might actually receive a decrease in FPS using this option.

I would like if a system as follows were added:
Instead of reading files and creating a list of available games each time Dolphin starts, it stored a list and refreshed it only when the user wanted it.

Dolphin already has this ? at least it does here Big Grin

It would also be nice if we could apply language patches on Dolphin!
i would really love if every you could right click a game and there was a configure option that was the same as the configure option when you normally configure dolphin but for that game specifically

this configure option would allow to to totally override dolphin's option

so you could have specific directx plugin options for every game

specific sound options for every game

...

hopefully that can be done because then i wouldn't have to re configure dolphin to a games optimum setting everytime i play a different game
