Not sure if this was requested already but,

loading files from folders (instead from the game iso), much like hi-res textures except any file

Are you 100% positive about that?
The internal render buffer is always 640x528 (well, apart from aa modes..). The only difference is the XFB resolution, but that one should be the same as the NTSC/PAL resolution.

Anyway, XFB resolution could change ANYWHERE in the code via the VideoInterface, so I don't see how we would check for stuff like that.
Couldn't find it via search, so my suggestion:

- Disable Gamepad for each game seperately.
Especially now I play Goldeneye, I always have to disconnect the controller to play with the wiimote, while I have to connect again for playing GC games... Not a big problem, would be quite convenient though Wink

Dogan

I've noticed that most of these requests seem to start something like "PCSX2 has such and such a feature...". Well, don't blame me for following the crowd Wink

I've noticed while playing Twilight Princess (GC) that in certain areas I get a consistent framerate of ~25 fps. The only way I can keep the game from playing in slow motion is to bump up frameskip to 1, which restores the game's speed but decreases FPS to a flat 15. The feature that PCSX2 has that I'm referring to is 2 separate options for "Frames to draw" and "Frames to skip". This allows frameskip values less than 1, such as 1/2, 2/3, etc.

I think this would be incredibly easy to implement and would allow the frameskip to be set to a precise value to give the maximum game speed increase without losing fps.

An expansion on this idea would be auto-frameskip, which would incrementally increase and decrease frameskip by small (fractional) amounts in response to smooth and laggy parts of gameplay.

e: Okay, I see that auto frameskip has been brought up already. Just adding 1/2 and 1/3 to the frameskip selection menu would be enough for me.
e2: Okay, I see auto frameskip in the changelog like 400 revisions ago, and what appears to be fractional frameskip as well. Am I just missing something?
Feature Request:

Being able to browse for and select a "Saves" folder just like you can browse for and select an ISO folder.

Copying your whole User folder every time you update your revision always freaks me out because I have absolutely no idea what essential configs or whatever I'm also copying over and whether or not they will be 100% compatible with a new revision. So if you could just select and browse for a saves directory you'd never have to worry about it.
I started reading the thread from the start, but woah, it's kinda long. Apologies for any unoriginality, and more apologies if this stuff is already staring me in the face. Blush

More of a niggle; the ability to minimise the main dolphin window, but not the emulation window. I know you can minimise, and then restore only the emulation window, but yeah, not ideal.

The ability to switch to 'upright wiimote' with a hotkey or toolbar button, instead of wading in and out of menus.

A bit lofty and inconsequential at this point in time; but a graphical representation of the Wii menu, be it a real emulation or a fake. Each game you have represented as a different channel. Options tidied away into the Wii options. That would be glorious.

Option to bypass the white 'hold your wiimote properly' warning screen and go straight to the game?

Most importantly, and hence it's been said dozens of times (sorry!); game specific options for everything (graphics/sound/controls) in the game properties would really be the dog's proverbials. Heart

Request:

Would be nice for GC Games and Wii Game when it would use system language as default. At every new rev I have to set it to german again.
The ability to use an actual real SD card (or a drive/partition in general) instead of the disk image file currently used.

I just bought gamepad and configured it, and i miss one thing:

I want that i can set button B to one button on gamepad and mouse button at same time. I only need it for mario galaxy, so i need mouse only to control wiimote. B button is for jumping and to accept things like save game, so i have to show it with mouse and click on gamepad. Its not very comfortable.

If someone could help I would be gratefull.

Thanks in advance.

PS. Sorry for my english.
